Anders Borgen is a leading Danish wheat farmer who promotes biodiversity working towards the needs of the organic movement (https://www.arc2020.eu/anders-borgen-nurd-of-the-niche/): - Modern bread readily available today is high in gluten and low in nutrition. The modern grain is a genetically modified form of grain that is very high in gluten. This high gluten and low nutrition is making people sick. - Industrial millers also strip the grain of vital nutrients, removing the germ where the oils and nutrients reside, and the bran husk where the fibre is, leaving only the endosperm. - Stone-grinding the flour fresh retains all the nutrients in the flour and the bread. Once the flour is milled oxidation begins to take place and nutrients decrease fast. At Tir the flour is used straight from the mill retaining the highest nutritions and flavour: - The bread will be the highest nutritious bread in Denmark. - Tir Bakery has been collaborating with Birkemosegaard Biodynamic Seasonal Farm where the grain grows (March - October). The bread has been a huge success. During high season 150 breads sold out within a few hours a day. - Due to these farming and milling methods the distribution chain is a lot shorter which reduces the carbon footprint.

Talk Town er en folkelig debatfestival; en samtaleby om køn, ligestilling og feminisme; et forum for dialog på tværs af faglig og personlig erfaring; et sted for nysgerrighed, netværksdannelse og dialog. Festivalen er aktørbaseret i stil med folkemødet på Bornholm. Det vil sige, at den fungerer som en tværfaglig, social og kulturel ramme for organisationer, erhvervsliv, foreninger, græsrødder, aktivister, uddannelsesinstitutioner, engagerede borgere og internationale meningsdannere m.fl., hvori de kan bidrage med netop deres mærkesager. Talk Towns formål er at skabe en platform for netværk og dialog, hvor der er plads til uenighed og forskellige perspektiver, der kan mødes på kryds og tværs, men som alle peger ind i samme hovedvision; ligestilling. BAGGRUND Festivalen udspringer af Danmarks værtsskab for konferencen Women Deliver i 2016. Kulturproduktionskollektivet Indgreb ønskede at give den almene københavner adgang til de mange Women Deliver-delegerede, som repræsenterede ligestillingssagen globalt, og forankre de globale ligestillingsproblematikker, der blev behandlet på konferencen, i en dansk kontekst. Derfor kontaktede Indgreb Kvinderådet og gennem et stærkt samarbejde løb den første Talk Town af stablen i Kødbyen i 2016. Festivalen var egentlig kun tænkt til at finde sted en enkelt gang, men fremmødet og opbakningen var så stor, at festivalen vendte tilbage på Hovedbiblioteket i 2017, og igen i 2018 i Huset-KBH. I 2019 blev festivalen afholdt i Den Brune Kødby, hvor Talk Town samarbejdede med 75+ internationale og danske aktører, som præsenterede 100+ arrangementer for 3000 gæster. De sidste fire år har vist, at Talk Town er kommet for at blive. Således blev 2019 også året hvor Talk Town fik vokseværk, og foreningen Talk Town stolt kunne præsentere både 3-dagsfestival i København i maj og 1-dagsfestival i Århus i september. Derudover kuraterede Talk Town i 2019 talkprogrammet til projektet Kvinder I Centrum, som arrangeredes af spillestedet Forbrændingen i Albertslund. Som afslutning på dette projekt og samarbejde, præsenterede Talk Town en 1-dagsfestival på Forbrændingen d. 30. november

NoviPel (2014) is a MedTech company with the aim of treating urinary incontinence (UI). An estimated 10% of all women, i.e. more than 300,000 women in Denmark, suffer from UI. The condition is still widely considered a taboo and has no effective treatment today. Sundhedsstyrelsen recommends the following treatments by order of effectiveness: Pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT); pharmacological therapy; and surgery. Surgery, used as a last resort solution, is expensive and has poor response rates. Pharmacological therapy has shown slightly better response rates but is accompanied by non-negligible side-effects. PFMT is a highly individual and specialized procedure. Done correctly it is a cheap, non-invasive procedure void of side-effects. There is a proven need for a tool to allow healthcare practitioners (HCPs) to standardize treatment, teach correct exercises, and collect data accurately. Our device is a non-invasive vaginal probe, offering users a new, data-driven best practice of supervised PFMT, AI nudging to improve adherence and patient education. The fully automated method optimizes existing treatment methods and improves HCP’s in their workflow. Our device can directly decrease existing UI related health economic costs by mitigating expenses from diapers and surgery-related expenses.
