P1 ESPORT

P1 ESPORT er en dansk digital motorsportsklub. Missionen er at skabe verdens bedste rammer for amatører og elitekører, så de kan udleve deres maksimale potentiale. Vi kan stolt sige, at vi har indgået - som den første i verden - en aftale med Red Bull ESPORTS, hvor vi er blevet Official Regional Talent Partner. Dermed er der store muligheder og perspektiver for vores talenter at prøve kræfter på den absolutte øverste hylde indenfor esport. Derudover ønsker vi at skabe en fællesskabsfølelse for vores medlemmer uanset ambitionsniveauet, hvor passion for digital motorsport, social engagement og personlig udvikling går hånd i hånd.

Millo appliances

We have invented Magnetic Air Drive - a contactless transfer of powerful torque for a new generation kitchen appliances. Millo appliances is the winner of TechBBQ 2021 Hardware Startups Pitch competition. Existing kitchen appliances are typically chunky, aesthetically unappealing and difficult to clean, that's why people hide them deep in cupboards. Modern kitchens are becoming smaller, so there is limited space for storing. People are seeking for more durable, minimalistic and sustainable products, also smart and evolving over time via software updates. Magnetic Air Drive is a standard of the future kitchen. A powerful, seamless torque that is suitable for a new generation cordless as well as build-in products. It is a highly sustainable solution - one motor can power all the mechanical kitchen appliances. The first technology application is a cordless blender - www.getmillo.com, which is evolving to a multifunctional platform. New accessories coming are coffee grinder, juicer and baby food mixer. The next evolution of the Magnetic Air Drive will be integration into cooktops, opening up entirely new possibilities for the wireless kitchens of the future.

ANOTHER ASPECT

ANOTHER ASPECT is founded from the belief that we have an inherent obligation to consider each singular step of our operations and even beyond that; from how we source our raw materials over how it is processed and sewn, how we package it and the ways that we ship our product to how our consumer can best care for the product, how it can be reused and, in the grand scheme of things, how we consume clothing. Our collections grow from an appreciation of going about one’s daily routines while making space for new adventures. By building on archetypal forms and classic elements, we want to create clothes that can complement wherever our everyday journey may take us, be it towards familiar paths or along unknown routes.

Design Matters

Design Matters is a Copenhagen-based company developing educational content for digital designers and organising international conferences about digital design (Copenhagen, Tokyo, Mexico City, Lagos, Singapore). It's a place where creatives gather together, share ideas, and discuss experiences. Design Matters involves a knowledgeable community of creative and curious minds who share the same drive and passion for digital design, technology, art, and society. Since 2015, Design Matters has been sharing stories about new movements in design, giving inspiration to designers from all over the world, growing each year and reaching 1000+ participants in 2019. In January 2020, Design Matters landed in Tokyo for the first time. In 2023, Design Matters hosted its first edition in Latin America, in Mexico City, and its first edition in Africa, in Lagos. In 2024 Design Matters is turning 10 and it's hosting an event in Singapore as part of the Singapore Design Week. Since 2020, all Design Matters events have been hybrid - both online and in-person. The Design Matters community has grown so much in the last few years that it has prompted us to expand our events even more internationally and to seek new members of our team. Being a small company, Design Matters offers great flexibility, direct collaboration, and the opportunity to wear many hats. if you're looking for a place where you can have a lot of agency, flexibility, variety in your job, and want to work in a really fast-paced environment with a very international team and group of collaborators, this is the place for you! KYNETIC så dagens lys i 2018 på baggrund af 15 års erfaring fra arbejdet med data-drevet performance marketing i ind- og -udland for mere end 200 af demest succesfulde brands og virksomheder her i Norden. KYNETIC er visionen om at slå en streg i sandet og skabe det absolut førende performance marketing bureau i Europa og accelerere brugen af AI i digital markeitng sammenhæng. 1) Fordi det performer bedre og 2) Fordi det skaber mindre støj og højere relevans En vision der krævede en ny begyndelse. Maka

Maka is a designer of premium quality bags, clothing, boards, and apparel for skaters currently launching worldwide with our first two products; water-resistant skateboard bags in two unique designs that make transporting your board 100x easier. Who is behind Maka? Maka is driven by a dedicated team in Medellín, Colombia. Maka is the brainchild of two skaters; Diego Pineda (CEO) and Jorge Calle (Lead Designer). Diego was born in Colombia but fled to Arizona, USA, with his family in 1999 due to violence. He picked up skating immediately and would go on to work for skate shops and tour the country with a team. He returned in 2008 to study International Business, although he never put down his board, certain that he would find a way to make a living out of skating. Jorge was born in raised in a small ghetto in Medellín, Colombia. While many of his friends found their way into drugs and violence, Jorge found his way forward in life either on top of a skateboard or behind a sewing machine. His true passion is to create without limits, to try, to fail, and to try again until he’s created the best there possibly could be. So Diego, why did you start Maka? I live a pretty simple life philosophy; I do what I enjoy doing. However, like everyone (especially skaters), it can be hard to do what you really enjoy and pay the bills. I’ve always looked up to the skate culture for inspiration ever since I started to understand it – the style, the clothes, the street, the attitude to be against the norm of society… It’s a close-knit community, although it’s an individual activity. You don’t need a team to be able to skate. It’s a way of self-expression, and that, for me, is the starting point of it all. What is the ambition of Maka? There are not many cultures that truly accept everyone. Skateboarding does. White, black, green, yellow, purple, tall, short, weird, funny, cool – everyone is accepted because it’s about your individuality. For the majority of my life, most of the people I’ve met come from skateboarding. It all comes down to having fun. Learning, falling, and getting back up. So, why does all of this relate to ambition? Because, while we’re taking the brand worldwide, we also want to seize the opportunity to support more kids with what skating has given us; a way to express ourselves, a sense of purpose, and life-long friends. Skating made our lives what they are, and now it’s time to give back. 10% of all profits go towards supporting social causes here in the city of Medellín. StatuManu ICP

Since the 1920s, scientists have worked on developing methods for measuring the pressure in the brain without having to drill a hole in the cranium. Here, the identification of the causes for increased pressure is important for diagnosing the condition and treating the pressure. StatuManu will provide a service not yet present in the market of ICP monitoring. As a non-invasive solution, the ICP Tracker eliminates critical risks associated with current methods. As a company, StatuManu’s mission is to save brain to save lives by enabling fast, reliable and non-invasive assessment of ICP, and being positioned as the standard tool for ICP monitoring. The valuable contribution of ICP Tracker is evident as symptoms of elevated ICP often mimic those of other less dangerous illnesses. The goal is that non-invasive methods to detect possible changes in ICP will be used in all instances of suspected elevated ICP.

BRØG

In BRØG we are developing a beautiful pour over coffee machine, where the user can control several variables in order to make their preferred cup of coffee. Our vision is to give the user the opportunity to brew the perfect cup of coffee while keeping the machine aesthetically beautiful. Besides that, we want to create an app where our customers can share, download and rate brews and thereby create a community similar to Vivino but for coffee lovers. Our customer segments consist primarily of coffee and design enthusiasts. The Scandinavian countries are the most coffee drinking nations worldwide, with a market potential of 800.000 sales - especially because black pour over coffee is the preferred brewing method. Furthermore, the design often matters a lot when Scandinavians buy new interior equipment and we plan on branding BRØG with that in focus. In order to brew a great cup of pour over coffee with the pour over method, you need to practice a lot to do it perfectly. This is where our machine comes into the picture. When using our machine, the user will be able to adjust all the crucial variables and thereby recreate their favorite cup of coffee every time. Besides that, our machine distributes the water correctly over the beans using our newly patented-pending water distributor. This will together with the right temperature, waterflow, bloom time and bloom water ensure a great cup of coffee. If the user is not an experienced barista or coffee connoisseur, they can use our app and in that find the coffee bean they are using (or a similar one) and see what settings other users have used and what the result was like. Anyone can therefore create a great cup of coffee with minimum effort or knowledge. All the components necessary to control these parameters require very little battery which, together with our battery pack, allows the user to brew a minimum of 100 cups of coffee before having to about recharging the machine. BRØG is portable and gives the user a lot of freedom which together with our design-protected design differentiates us from our competitors. The team consists of three Process and Innovation students from DTU. Our skills as a team cover the fundamental knowledge necessary to run a startup due to us having different qualities and interests. We have a great team spirit and know each other's strengths and weaknesses and help each other whenever the need arises. Two of us have been working on BRØG for the past one and a half years and are now going full time in our company, and the third partner just joined. Besides us, we have a strong team of advisors and mentors. Our advisory board consists of a business lawyer working with startups, a product developer, a business and market expert from CBS and an entrepreneur that we try to meet up with 6 times a year. Besides that, we have a mentor from a previous mentor program with years of experience as a designer within the same luxurious customer segment, who helps us create a beautiful and user-friendly product. This group of people have also helped us create a large network with contacts in all areas of expertise that we need to succeed.
