Rizer Biotech is a spin-off from groundbreaking research at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, aiming to revolutionise biomolecular studies in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Our team, currently including Dr. Andrea Volpato, Dr. Andreas Bodén and Prof. Ilaria Testa, focuses on developing an instrument and measurement technique that enhances the understanding of biomolecular dynamics. The team's expertise currently covers instrument and software development and research collaborations. Our innovation lies in directly studying large biomolecule dynamics, an area current technologies cannot effectively cover. The tool utilizes smart fluorescent probes together with polarized illumination and detection and enables a new dimension of molecular analysis that we believe can find applications in several important drug development areas. The core technology is the result of many years of research within the academic setting, but the commercial aspirations are still young. The company was started in 2023 and is just taking shape as a separate entity. Most of the operations are today located in Scilifelab, a national research institute leading life-science research in Sweden. Our vision is to empower drug developers, researchers, and clinicians with a tool that accelerates drug discovery and can foster a future of faster, more accurate, and more efficient therapeutic development.

Our oceans need to be protected! The idea in a nutshell -> When shipping containers fall in our oceans, they hit the bottom damaging marine life. We want to make refurbished containers from recycled plastic injected with microbubbles, giving them the buoyancy and ability to float. The idea is based on archemedies principle and the principles of circular economy, directly supporting UN SDGs 14.1, 9.4, 12.5 and 12.c. It will be one way of helping shipping companies with their decarbonisation agenda and move towards their green transition. Our long-term aspirations upon growth are i) to channel part of our earnings and energy to fund climate educational programmes in schools, something we passionately believe needs to be done for our future generations and ii) building an ESG platform providing a holistic view of a firm's ESG ambitions in line with the 2030 agenda, with a clear view of how close or far is one to their net-zero ambition (design prototype already created).

We develop a universal docking charging station for drones for uninterruptible autonomous drone operations. We invented a new way of charging drones, from a hanging position. Our charging station can be easily mounted on any surface at any height up in the air, on moving objects: ships, bigger drones etc. Connected to a network, the stations create an automatic charging infrastructure for all kinds of VTOL drones.

BeSammen er en innovativ platform, der tilbyder et trygt og lukket online fællesskab for mennesker, der lever med kræft. Vi ved, at kræftbehandling ofte indebærer en lang og udfordrende rejse, som kan være både fysisk og psykisk krævende. Derfor har vi skabt BeSammen – et sted, hvor kræftpatienter kan mødes i små, lukkede grupper på maks 10 personer, og hvor der er mulighed for at dele tanker, følelser og erfaringer med andre, der står i præcis samme situation. Peer-to-peer fællesskaber Forskning har gentagne gange vist, at sociale fællesskaber kan spille en afgørende rolle i kræftpatienters mentale og følelsesmæssige velvære. Studier fra blandt andet Journal of Psychosocial Oncology og Cancer Nursing har vist, at deltagelse i små, støttende grupper kan reducere psykiske senfølger som angst og depression med op til 25%. BeSammen bygger på denne forskning og tilbyder derfor ikke kun et fællesskab, men en effektiv måde at forbedre livskvaliteten for de, der lever med kræft. Ved at deltage i vores små, lukkede grupper, oplever brugerne en følelse af at høre til og øget forståelse af deres behandlingsforløb. BeSammen er udviklet i tæt samarbejde med sundhedsfaglige eksperter og kræftpatienter, og vi har allerede gennemført succesfulde testforløb på Afdelingen for Kræftbehandling på Herlev Hospital. Resultaterne viser, at både patienter og sundhedspersonale oplever en betydelig positiv effekt af at deltage i BeSammens fællesskaber. For at gøre oplevelsen endnu mere personlig arbejder vi på at implementere AI-teknologi, som kan hjælpe med at matche brugere på baggrund af deres specifikke behov og præferencer, og dermed sikre en endnu bedre og mere målrettet støtte. Vi er ikke "bare" et fællesskab BeSammen er kke bare et fællesskab – vi er en gamechanger i måden, vi støtter kræftpatienter og deres pårørende på. Ved at reducere psykiske senfølger og styrke den mentale sundhed kan vi forbedre patienternes livskvalitet og sikre en bedre og hurtigere rehabilitering. Boet's goal is to strengthen the individual's influence, participation and self-determination through easily accessible and clear educational support for the individual, which also gives the staff the conditions to provide the right support, in the right way, at the right time. With Boet, the user can participate and influence the planning and implementation of the intervention. The staff at recidences with special services are heroes! It is therefore important to protect the resources that are available. Boet gives the staff a tool that facilitates their important work, so that they can in turn do their best to help and support the users.
