SENPAGE

Senpage is an organization that seeks to redefine how students and recent graduates approach entrepreneurship. Blurring the lines between incubator and consultancy, Senpage facilitates meaningful collaborations between founders and cross-functional teams of student consultants, seasoned mentors, and other key stakeholders. By leveraging our growing network, we aim to democratise entrepreneurship by dismantling the biggest obstacles faced by student entrepreneurs— whether it’s time, manpower, or capital. From ideation to MVP validation, join us on our mission to create a more viable, sustainable path for both student founders and consultants. Senpage's management team consists of permanent members who pursue prospective clients, recruit new volunteers, oversee our internal and external communications, and shape the organisation’s broader strategy. Our project teams are comprised of volunteers from local universities who serve as consultants for our clients. We aim to recruit volunteers with a variety of competencies to serve every potential need.

Akusis ApS

At Akusis we deliver relevant content to the more than 1 million people suffering from hypertension. At the same time, we facilitate an easy to use blood pressure measurement proces, that enables general practitioners to receive patient reported data with a significant higher data integrity than the excisting solutions. An ease of mind solution for both patients and doctors, that saves and improves lives, and lowers the expenses in the Danish healthcare system. Hypertension is serious, and when not treated it could be fatal. However, the impact can be reduced, if treated properly and at an early stage. We have talked to a number of both patients and doctors, and from this we learned: * Doctors require more than 500.000 measurements a year. Measurements are performed by the patients in their own home, and self-reported into an existing digital solution. * Measuring and entering data in the system can be difficult, and leads to mistakes in about 36% of the total measurements performed. This gives doctors a poor chance of diagnosing correctly. * There is a need of a more simple and intuitive system, that can reduce the number of bad measurements. * Furthermore, the patients report, that they need information on exactly what hypertension is, and what they can do themselves to lower their blood pressure levels (besides taking their medicine). * Patients feel left alone with a lot of questions, and no one to answer them. Instead they go online, and find the answers in various places, and too often answers that ends up worsening their condition. Our solution is based on our own website, and our mobile application. On both platforms we deliver the content that we know the patients need. Today it is scattered all over, and of mixed quality. We bring it all to a single place. On top of that, we add tailored treatment courses, and hand on tools to be implemented in an every day life, giving the patients a chance to act and improve. Our content is delivered by experts in the areas of sleep, exercise and nutrition, as we know that is what the patients ask for. For those that want more than just information, we deliver access to an easy to use measurement proces, by using the equipment already at hand. Historical readings can be seen on the application, notes can be taken, and it is even possible to send the data to the doctor. The combination of the above signigicantly reduces the impact of hypertension in Denmark, and represents an approach to this specific disease, that doesn´t exist today. The idea for this specific project comes from a member of the founder team, Kurt Rasmussen, and is further developed by the other team members, who are both health tech engineers. Kurt is a general practioner with more than 25 years of experience, and has for (too) long experienced issues related to poor quality of blood pressure measurements, and patients that want to do more, but don´t know how to. We strongly, both as general practitioner and health tech engineers want to improve the every day life of patients, and enabling them to life longer, fuller and richer lives, free from worries and not needed complications. By developing Akusis BPM System, we are able to do so, and at the same time reduce the costs of treating hypertensive patients in DK. We claim, that when fully implemented, we are able to reduce the costs in the amount of billions - even conservatively put around 2-3 of them every year.

Connecting Grounds ApS

Connecting Grounds is a food start-up based in Aarhus that up-cycles spent coffee grounds (a.k.a. coffee waste) into a food ingredient for B2B snack and confectionary companies and restaurants. Why do we do it? 1. Environment Spent coffee grounds are often treated as waste. Think about how many cups of coffee you or the people around you drink per day. All the coffee waste from drinking coffee adds to the Greenhouse Gas Emissions. 2. Nutritional Value When we brew our cup of coffee, we are only taking advantage of 1% of coffee's nutrients. 99% of these nutrients stay in the spent coffee grounds. These nutrients include caffeine, dietary fibre, proteins and valuable minerals. What we do is change the narrative behind hidden food waste by starting with coffee by-products. By up-cycling such a product, we evert emissions, take advantage of our resources and raise awareness on the importance of up-cycling. Rethinking food is what we do, and we will not stop with coffee by-products. We will continue to search for resources/ingredients that have the potential of being reintroduced in the food stream, again.

På(fyll) is a home refill service that delivers everyday home goods in containers you can use again and again. It was founded by Orkla Home and Personal Care, Æra and Bakken & Bæck. We enable the guilt-free consumption of any home and personal care product, free from single-use plastics – a problem that today dumps at least 1 garbage truck’s worth of plastic waste into the ocean every minute of every day. We worked with award winning international design studio Form Us With Love to design beautiful, refillable containers that can be re-used over and over again for years to come. We deliver and pick up these containers right at your doorstep to make shopping more convenient, affordable and sustainable. Today we are live across Norway, selling known and beloved brands like home cleaning brands like Jif, Zalo, Omo and Klar. We will soon expand to more of the brands and products you love. Our vision is to make zero-waste living easy and accessible for every individual in the Nordics within the next five years. Our mission is to bring you whatever you need in packaging as valuable as what's inside.

At Banana, we produce ice cream, bread and sweets from "ugly", ripe, organic bananas. Bananas that would otherwise be discarded because of looks or being ‘overripe’. But those bananas are the nerve of Banana Cph . They are ripe, sweet and form the perfect base for our ice cream, bread and sweets. Bananas are one of the most wasted foods in the world. Early in the value chain with the farmers, a staggering 40% is discarded due to appearance alone. Not to mention during transport and in the supermarkets, where millions of bananas are thrown out every day, because of looks and ripeness. A huge contrast to what the world is calling for. And what consumers are calling for. In Banana, we think circularly, sustainably, and uncompromisingly. That is the core of our DNA. We produce products that speak to both taste and conscience. Simplewire

Simplewire is a young but fast growing hardware startup, trying to solve a problem as old as electricity itself. As you might know, all buildings contain a myriad of electrical installations, which must be marked according to their point of origin. The process is called marking. Today, it is done manually with thousands and thousands of labels on wires, sockets, lamp sockets and junction boxes. Marking costs an enormous amount of labor time in planning and execution, and is virtually impossible to do correctly, as human error is inevitable. That leads to poor marking, which is a huge concern for building owners. Simplewire is a digital system that's installed at the switchboard. ASK modulated signals are transmitted on the wires, and can be picked up wirelessly by our reader device. Doing it the old way, with labels, would have taken months and months to complete, and even longer in old buildings, if at all possible. With Simplewire, a whole building's electrical installation can be mapped 100% correctly, in less than an hour, and with no needed maintenance.

Synobody

Short and sweet Synobody is a biotech company working within the field of synthetic biology. We have developed a platform that makes the finding and production of a group of molecules called Nanobodies easier and less expensive. Nanobodies are essential in diagnostics and pharmacology research, and we strive to bridge the gab between researcher and nanobody. More Info: Synobody is a synthetic nanobody (Nb) company offering identification and validation of high-affinity nanobodies for research institutions and companies worldwide. The Synobody platform is a highly customizable system developed to ease the implementation into common lab practices independent of application. Although Nbs have huge potential within a wide span of research areas, it has struggled to find its way to market. The necessity of llama immunization and lack of systemization keeps prices high and diminishes ease of adaptation into common lab routines. At Synobody, we want to bridge the gap between Nb-technology and researchers, by addressing these barriers. To eliminate llama immunization, the company has developed a highly diverse and fully synthetic Nb-library used to systematically screen for high-affinity Nb. Identified nanobodies can readily be fused to tags or labels and function with secondary Nb commercially available on the Synobody platform.

The police are called up so that you have the option to talk to them should you deem it necessary. We also have a paid version of The app . This version includes a crime map that shows crimes that have recently been committed . this is extremely helpful for places you are visiting and has full coverage in the UK and most of the USA . The reason I am doing it Sitting at home one night, I received a call that changed everything. While working alone in London, my brother had been brutally attacked with a hammer. I was devastated and felt completely powerless. He was miles away in another country, what could I do to help? Nothing! Walking along the river, thinking about what had happened, I looked down at the water and suddenly it came to me. I knew what I had to do. I had to find something that would make everyone safer and help prevent these kinds of attacks from happening again. I realised I could use the one thing everybody carries with them, their phone, as a shield to protect them! This idea became the Guardians app.
