We're empowering educators with total control in their hands and we’re helping the world to teach. We do this by revolutionising how schools and nurseries find the best educators. We do this by empowering educators with full-career control. And we do this because we must. Because by 2030, up to 69 million classrooms and nurseries won’t have a teacher. But with a push of a button, supply educators can find, choose, and book every job that fits them. With a push of a button, schools and nurseries can instantly and easily find educators. With a push of a button, we simplify, modernise, and improve education for everyone everywhere. And with a push of a button, we can help those 69 million classrooms and nurseries learn another day. In 2015, Kristoffer and Gustav, our Head of Product and CEO co-founded Humly in Gothenburg, Sweden. But before the C-Suite, they were college students and supply teachers, dealing with the same problems many face with agencies: the last-minute work calls, the calls that don’t come, the lack of power or say in your career, and so much more. So they built a home where educators are as important as the job itself. They built Humly, so educators can have the power to choose when, where, and how much they work – simply and easily, without hassle. They built Humly so every eligible educator can find the classroom and nursery that’s right for them.

BURD

Burd is an on-demand delivery startup that operates a network of couriers who deliver goods and foods on behalf of local merchant partners. End-customers use our mobile app to request, track and receive orders, or alternatively they order via the Partners’ own user-interface, and we only act as a “delivery back-end”. We will define a new paradigm within the sharing economy, by truly sharing the wealth with all our stakeholders, including offering our riders outright co-ownership.

KAHU

KAHU aims to close a persistent gap in maritime visibility - the inability to continuously track vessels not transmitting AIS (Automatic Identification System) data. AIS can be switched off, spoofed, or absent, creating blind spots exploited by illegal fishing, shadow fleets, and other high-risk actors. The AIS market is also dominated by a few providers, limiting access and transparency. This affects not only maritime safety and security but also the monitoring of ocean environments. We address this by building the first real-time, crowdsourced radar detection network for the ocean. Our onboard software connects to existing vessel radar, collects radar echoes, and streams them securely to the cloud using low-bandwidth protocols. There, echoes are linked into vessel tracks and fused with AIS, satellite imagery, and other data layers to produce a continuous, sea-level view of vessel movements, enabling comprehensive visibility over human activity at sea and supporting timely, informed action.

ESEBA

ESEBA, a deep tech startup from DTU, transforms low-quality textile waste into MDF boards without binders or formaldehyde. We offer a sustainable, non-toxic alternative to traditional wood-based panels. Textile waste is a massive and growing problem in Europe – less than 1% is recycled into new products, and most ends up incinerated. At the same time, formaldehyde regulations are tightening, and deforestation pressures are increasing demand for alternatives to virgin wood. ESEBA’s mission is to enable local, circular board production through a scalable, plug-and-produce production line for furniture manufacturers.

Supercell is a mobile game developer based in Helsinki, Finland, with offices in San Francisco, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai. Since our launch in 2010, we've brought five games to the global market – Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, Boom Beach, Clash of Clans and Hay Day. Our goal is to make the best games – games that are played by as many people as possible, enjoyed for years and remembered forever.

Resights

Resights started with a vision to gather all property data on one platform to save time and improve decisions. No more messy spreadsheets or gut feelings. Today, we're much more than a database: our customers use Resights for everything from finding investment properties to analyzing urban development, automating contact with property owners, and getting an overview of upcoming and current construction projects. The common thread is property and construction data – and how we help our customers drive more business. The reality is, though, that Resights is first and foremost the 50 people behind the software. A bunch of nerdy team players who in 5 years have built one of Denmark's fastest-growing tech startups with +1,400 customers. Without VC money, with a healthy bottom line, and (most importantly) with loads of fun along the way. Our talent comes from professional backgrounds like engineering, music, biotechnology, and real estate. Our youngest employee is 16 years old, meanwhile, we just gifted another employee a game of pétanque for his retirement. Some have higher education, while others didn't pass elementary school. But we don't care. That's the Resights we want to build – a place where everyone brings their true self to work and knows they can achieve whatever success they strive for. We're located on Borgergade right in the city centre, with everything you need: free lunch, a kitchen jam-packed with food, cold beverages, fruit, and a great coffee machine. Liva is a platform and app for people living with chronic diseases such as obesity, kohl, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.The Liva team has previously created NetDoktor and other successful startups in the health sector, and now they’re eager to disrupt the market and offer more lifestyle-related treatment than regular healthcare does, moving away from purely medical treatment traditions. This happens through advanced digital personal guidance, lifestyle and disease tracking, user forum etc. We’re a small, dedicated team of skilled individuals, and we’re very flexible. Since knowledge sharing is the easiest when working in one room, we’ve agreed to work as much as possible from the office. If we can’t hire the best of the best people, we often prefer outsourcing our tasks.We place the social element at the heart of Liva, with a blast of a Christmas lunch (this year taking place at the Tivoli amusement park) and regular team dinners too. We set quarterly goals, and upon fulfilling them we celebrate by traveling together, going for luxury dining or the like. A startup like Liva is very uncomplicated and all individuals get a lot of decision making power.The need for our platform is here, this is clear since many customers have signed up before our actual product has launched - some have even told us they’ve been waiting for a product like this for 10 years.

Normative

Our Mission: Normative is here to make known and reduce the sustainability impact of all economic activities on the planet. We provide science-based carbon accounting software and tailored advice from net zero experts, enabling companies to reduce their carbon footprints. Our Story: Normative is rooted in climate research. In 2013, co-founder Kristian Rönn was working at Oxford University, simulating the consequences of climate change. The results showed that global warming would cause extreme human suffering, motivating Kristian to leave academia and take action. He joined forces with Adam Wamai Egesa and Robin Undall-Behrend, and in 2014 the world’s first carbon accounting engine was born to help humanity achieve net zero emissions and reverse the trajectory of climate change. We now have offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and London, and are actively hiring talent to join the mission. Today, companies from around the world trust our carbon accounting engine to help them reduce their carbon footprint. We partner with leading climate change organisations including the UN, to deliver actionable sustainability intelligence and have received a grant from Google. We are backed by some of the world’s most significant climate investors, and are the official software provider for the UN-backed SME Climate Hub initiative through which thousands of small businesses have committed to net zero.
