REspire

Respire is a Norwegian venture studio focused on building companies within the energy transition and sustainability. We work hands-on from early problem exploration through company formation and early growth, typically partnering closely with founders as active co-builders. Our team brings experience from energy, industry, startups, and venture building, and we believe a systematic approach gives better odds in complex, capital-intensive domains. We build a small number of ventures at a time and take a long-term view. Respire contributes sector insight, structured venture development, access to relevant networks, and in-house capacity for early MVP development. We work with entrepreneurs who want real ownership and responsibility, and who are motivated by solving concrete problems in energy and green industry rather than chasing hype. We’re based at RE Gründerhus in Asker, a hub for sustainable innovation, and are now scaling the studio.

True Energy A/S

Many people are talking about the smart grid and how we can reach 100% sustainable energy, and avoid global warming getting out of hand, by intelligently balancing the consumption so it fits with the electricity production. At True Energy we're already doing it! True Energy offers a smart charging app to our end users so they can register their car or charger and have it start or stop charging based on the hour of day and the electricity price, so the user optimizes their charging to be cheapest. The service is free of charge for the end user because they participate in our flexibility pool where the power companies can buy offsetting of the consumption if the grid is overloaded or production is expensive. We use Google Workspace, GitLab as code repo, Jira for our agile project management, and Slack for chat. We have a policy of 100% line coverage for unit tests, and want to support continuous delivery. We focus on collaboration and an open, inclusive work environment. Our team is multinational, and the working language is English, so full proficiency is required.. We have team members in several time zones.

JABS Group

We keep quality high and prices low by making our products ourselves and selling them directly to consumers, with no need for costly middlemen. We are Europe’s largest producer of windows and doors sold directly to consumers online. Our more than 700 employees are spread across corporate HQ in Denmark and our manufacturing sites in Estonia, Poland, and Romania. Qluent

Qluent enables everyone to access data insights easily by leveraging Generative AI to handle the complex task of extracting data from databases. What is Qluent? Qluent is a smart business analytics assistant, designed to enable non-technical users to access, explore and gain insights from their business data. It leverages the power of large language models (LLM), which are powering services such as ChatGPT, enabling users to interact with their data in a fully natural language environment, without any additional learning. What sets it apart from other LLM-based services is that it is connected to your business data sources, and uses that live data when answering questions, instead of being pre-trained on a static dataset. How does Qluent work? All data sources, such as SQL databases or data providing APIs, define a language for querying them. Qluent is trained to transform natural language questions into queries for these data sources, and then additionally trained to query your business data source in particular, with the awareness of the data objects (e.g. SQL tables, columns, or API query fields) this data source holds. When users ask a question, Qluent first translates it into a query for the data source, and then executes it on the data source, returning the results to the user. Additionally, Qluent provides users with an explanation of how the question was understood and how the query that was generated actually works, allowing users to understand how the system works interpreted their question and letting them guide the answering process with precision.

Trust Stamp

As society has progressively moved towards increased digitalisation and users have increased requirements for remote access to services, there is a greater need for secure methodologies that allow companies to identify and transact with customers and other stakeholders remotely. The government is no exception to this change: employees and stakeholders increasingly expect to be able to interact remotely with the government, both easily and safely. Biometric technologies are becoming ubiquitous, especially in support of remote interactions: when implemented well, they can bring tremendous advantages to business, government and their stakeholders with a slicker user experience, improved trust and lower costs. Inevitably, new opportunities come with new challenges, including: - Identity theft: biometric databases are proliferating and criminals are highly motivated to acquire biometric credentials and use them to impersonate others, usually for fraudulent purposes. Biometric credentials are far more valuable to criminals because, unlike passwords, they can’t simply be changed if stolen. - Trust: as remote interactions become the norm, it’s essential that both parties can be highly confident of the other’s identity. A business, government or service provider will need to be confident that the person connecting to the service is both a real person and the right person. - Exclusion: for those who do not have the necessary technology or skills, or perhaps bias in the biometric system that discriminates against some demographics and characteristics (such as skin colour and ageing). - Compliance: unlike passwords, biometrics are tied to an individual’s characteristics and could be used to identify that individual. GDPR places biometrics in a special or sensitive category of personal data and demands much stronger safeguards around collection and safekeeping. Empire AI

Empire AI is a company founded by workspace consultants with over a decade of experience in developing office buildings. Through our work, we noticed that the office planning process is characterized by gut-feelings, guesswork and outdated benchmarks. This results in suboptimal office space that has massive amounts of unused space - an average of 80-90% of chairs and 50-60% of rooms remain empty during work hours in a typical office building today. Simultaneously, employees are complaining they do not have the necessary rooms and support their work. To address this issue, we created Empire AI. Empire's software is designed to transform the way you plan and manage your office space, making office buildings more space efficient, sustainable, and people-centric. Our machine learning models can predict how your office space will be used, allowing you to make informed decisions before you even begin building. With our software, you'll be able to identify which rooms and areas will be most useful and which will be less so, ensuring optimal utilization of your space. It can be used for building specifications, scenario planning, monitoring and improving existing office space and to predict utilization before building the space. Provargo A/S

Provargo A/S er markedsførende indenfor drikkevarekontrol. Vi udvikler, producerer og leverer online baserede doserings og kontrolsystemer til hospitality branchen, med et væld af kunder i både Danmark og resten af verden. Vi gennemgår i øjeblikket en spændende fase i vores udvikling som virksomhed, med et større fokus rettet mod bar,-, hotel-, og restaurationskæder. Samtidig arbejder vi også tæt sammen med distributører på markedet. I bar og restaurationsbranchen er det almindeligt at se relativt høje spildprocenter på drikkevarer. Det resulterer i to problemstillinger: 1) Et stort tab af omsætning. 2) Manglende overblik over reel lagerbeholdning af eksempelvis fustager, flasker, post-mix beholdere, osv. Derfor har vi udviklet systemer der synliggør på et online dashboard, nøjagtigt hvad der tappes af såvel spiritus, som øl, vin og sodavand. Alle tappedata registreres med tidsstempler og er i stand til at give brugeren et overblik over forbrugsmønstre, lagerniveauer, spidsbelastninger af personale, faktisk forbrug af drikkevarerne der tilbydes, m.v. Vores kerneprodukt er i stand til at integrere med cloud-baserede POS systemer, hvilket gør det muligt for udvalgte personer (eksempelvis ejere eller lokale driftschefer) at overvåge balanceforholdet imellem salg og faktiske udskænkninger. Herudover tilbyder vi også øvrige løsninger der sikrer at kvaliteten af drikkevarerne er i top, eksempelvis ved temperaturkontrol og køler overvågning. Colab

Similarly to how cars replaced horse carriages, a new era of influencer marketing is approaching. Influencer marketing has become a jungle to navigate. Colab enters the market with polarity and new ways of doing things, aiming to re-invent, simplify & streamlining the influencer marketing process by offering a more effective product to brands with a cooler interface. Colab is helping brands facilitate, manage and scale their influencer campaigns, whether they have experience within the field or not. The industry has moved towards limited transparency and unfair pricing, with the general perception being that the more followers, the better the candidate for a campaign. However, the inverse relationship between follower volume and engagement rate makes this notion untrue. By harnessing the power of nano and micro-influencers, we're proving that relation matters more than size regarding impact. We are building our value proposition on this: By activating 10-20 micro-influencers instead of one macro influencer. This way, brands can have a more cost-effective campaign and deliver a higher ROI. Micro-influencers tend to have a more niche audience which can be highly targeted and more likely to convert to customers. This will reduce the risk of fall-throughs and ultimately have greater reach, effect, and overall return. We handle the influencer volume through our platform. The content creators follow brands they like, which is how we pick the relevant content creators for a particular campaign. No need to reach out to multiple influencers that don't like your brand in the first place. The relevant content creators get picked, can access the brief, order products, track packages, upload content for approval and chat with us through our Colab app. In other words, we have compressed the process to its core, turned the table, so the content creators pick the brand, and assembled all necessary steps and communication in one place. One of the most crucial factors in our approach is the community we build and nurture. We are very selective regarding brands we collaborate with and content creators. Hence, insofar as possible, we prioritise working with authentic brands and mainly content creators with some edge in a niche market, making them valuable to the brands wanting exposure to their particular niche. Colab began because we all saw how the influencer marketing industry was speeding out of control with the perception that the greater the reach, the better the candidate, at the expense of prices going through the roof, despite a lack of transparency and all campaign-associated data showing how well the campaign performed. In combination with the fact that trust tends to be more prevalent among nano and micro-influencers and their audience, mainly driven by their ability to create content that is perceived as more authentic and relatable, which can lead to greater credibility among their followers, additionally, making their engagement rates higher than Macro-influencers. Colab autogenerates a digestible data report on campaign performance comprised of every content creator participating in the campaign, which gives an overview of the content, the reach, impression rate and many more metrics. In Colab, it is, therefore, not crucial whether you have 2.000 followers or 200.000 followers as long as you are authentic and make an effort in what you are creating and posting regardless of what it is.

Material Mapper AS

Material Mapper’s vision is to create a market of scale for secondary building materials by mapping them in Europe and leading the transition towards a closed-loop circular construction and demolition industry. The European construction industry is urgently lacking clear, centralized access to information about secondary building materials available in their area, due to the fragmentation and inconsistency with which these public data are captured and stored. This makes building planning with quality secondary building materials time and cost-intensive for stakeholders, in turn making it difficult to comply with the EU’s Waste Directive of 70% recycled/re-used building materials. Our young, multi-award-winning company is planning to launch a project over 24 months to build a breakthrough innovation for the whole of Europe using artificial intelligence and machine learning that will extract, read, evaluate, and forecast quantities of secondary building materials for the user, making future planning for property developers seamless through our platform. We are confident that our product is unique and that we have no direct competition. By combining our deep technology, partnership development, and B2B sales expertise, we are already working closely with major industry actors to harness insights and their existing networks for our customer base.
