Content Creator & Visual Designer

Salary DKK 240 - DKK 260 per hour

Content Creator & Visual Designer

(Part-Time)

About the Role

Since launching, we've created all of Folk's social media content and visual design in-house. Now, we're looking for a sharp, creative, and structured visual storyteller to step into the shoes of our part-time Content Creator and Visual Designer and help shape the next phase of Folk's visuals, so it aligns with our evolving vision from what we've learned so far, making it even sharper.

This is a part-time role with intensity. We're looking for someone who, despite the limited hours, brings input that is aligned with our storytelling and frame, and that helps get our founder-based message around her ideas and work out into the world. This role is hands-on, fast-moving, and central to how Folk is seen and felt.

*We are receiving a large number of applications, please only apply if you meet the qualifications below.

What You'll Do

Video is at the center of this role: shooting and editing at a high level, with the effects and small details that make it stand out, is the core skill we need, raising our current standard. Alongside that, you'll bring the same eye to photography, brand design, and the other visual work that shapes how Folk looks and feels.

You'll be responsible for creating all things visual and content aligned with our set campaigns with our founder, capturing her ideas and shaping them into captivating, never-seen-before angles. From our signature flash photography to short-form video and motion graphics, you'll bring our evolving visuals to life, edited to fit our tone and substance, cutting straight to the core of our message, no fluff, no filler.

You'll also help develop our founder's own channel, building on ongoing behind-the-scenes material, focused on her work building Folk as a woman in this industry, the story behind the brand from her seat, and the values behind it. You'll also help keep our content organized, from ideas to posting order, so there's always a clear overview of what's coming next.

Beyond social content, you'll also design key brand assets when needed: festival setups, signage, new bottle labels, stickers, merchandise, mock-ups, as well as visual material for Shopify for limited, seasonal editions. You should be comfortable editing in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or similar tools).

Please visit our website folkkombucha.dk and our social media @folkkombucha to get a feel for the work we've created so far, and to understand the level of detail that we want to elevate even further.

Who You Are

You understand the marketing our founder builds through every post, and you match that same level of detail. You thrive in the small parts most people skip.

You're fast, structured, and intentional in your creative work. You know how to tell a visual story that connects. You're skilled in professional-level video production, and can bring the same eye to photography. You have a strong eye for aesthetics, a sharp sense of composition, and the ability to translate Folk's values into compelling visuals.

You don't treat part-time as a ceiling. You bring full energy and ownership to every piece you create, because you understand that for a small brand like Folk, every visual carries the story forward.

You have to live nearby, be able to come to the brewery, and meet together in person twice a month. All shooting and content creation happens together on these days, while editing happens independently, with feedback going back and forth.

Working at
Folk Kombucha

Are you ready to join a journey of fermentation with Folk Kombucha? Behind the name Folk lies a vision of creating something that brings people together. Located in the heart of Kødbyen, our small but passionate team is dedicated to crafting uncompromising, living kombucha. We've built a brewery universe from the ground up in the heart of the city, in a space where people can gather and learn about unpasteurized kombucha on a larger scale, while we continue learning ourselves. That’s also why every aspect of Folk is done in-house - from fermenting, bottling, and lab testing, to designing our own labels and visuals. Rather than outsourcing, we are becoming experts in our craft, evolving every day and continually refining our understanding of how to ferment the best possible kombucha. It's a process that only improves with the experience we gain. We use only organic ingredients with flavors inspired from what grows in the Nordic nature around us and let alchemy meet science. Each bottle undergoes a weeks fermentation process, making us a true slow drink in both the soft drink and non-alcoholic segments. We combine flavor, tradition, and health in a product where no detail is overlooked. When you step through the doors of our brewery, you're joining a team of passion. We are driven to build a remarkable brand by thinking, creating, and executing at an ambitious level. As a cooperative workplace, we carry an open and dialogue-based management style, where everyone lends a hand and is part of an informal environment. We are a very small team and therefore need someone to join, that is ready to set the bar very high and take pride in executing at the level we uphold at Folk.
