Student Assistant for Compliance – Coinify

Coinify is a Danish crypto-asset service provider (CASP) regulated by the Danish FSA (Finanstilsynet) under the MiCA regulation. Having operated in the Danish market for more than 15 years, we are one of the true veterans of the crypto industry and a highly trusted crypto supplier. Our MiCA licence now places the crypto industry on equal footing with the traditional banking sector, meaning we can offer our customers a broader range of products — an exciting development to be part of.

About the role

You will primarily work in our daily operational Compliance team, where our focus is on ensuring that we comply with applicable legislation and internal policies. We consider compliance to be of the highest importance at Coinify — it's in our DNA — which makes your role truly essential to us.

You will work in a small team, closely with our Compliance Officer. Your tasks will primarily relate to handling anti-money laundering matters, including:

• Handling alerts

• Onboarding of new customers

• Screenings

• Enhanced due diligence (EDD)

• Internal controls

Working hours

The position is 15-20 hours per week, spread across a minimum of 2-3 days. Working hours are between 9 am and 4 pm.

We expect that you

• Are currently pursuing a higher education degree, preferably with a focus on IT security, finance/economics, or law — but what matters most to us is that you are intelligent and a quick learner

• Are structured and detail-oriented. Our work requires consistency, and you need to be able to replicate the decisions we've made. This means you need to be thorough and able to work based on a defined risk appetite

• Enjoy working with new things and adapting to changing plans. While your role will be relatively operational, we work in a dynamic way and adjust quickly whenever we spot a smarter way of doing things — you should thrive in that kind of environment

• Are eager to contribute with new ideas and perspectives. We want you to bring fresh energy, and we're genuinely interested in hearing your thoughts on optimisations and smarter ways of doing things

• Don't need prior experience with crypto — but you should be interested in the field and want to dive deep into it. We'll make sure you get there
