We are now looking for a Head of Partnerships & Global Engagement to lead and grow our global network of partners.

The Role

This role plays a key part in shaping how we connect the Nordic startup landscape with the world.

As Head of Partnerships you co-own and define TechBBQ’s partnerships strategy along with the commercial director—driving both commercial growth and long-term ecosystem impact. You operate at the intersection of business development, international engagement, and ecosystem building, positioning TechBBQ as a leading gateway between Nordic innovation and global stakeholders.

You will lead how we build, scale, and activate partnerships across corporates, investors, and public institutions, while expanding our international presence and strengthening our role as a connector across ecosystems.

  • Define and drive TechBBQ’s partnerships and global engagement strategy, aligned with our growth ambitions

  • Build, own, and expand a high-value portfolio of partners across corporates, investors, and international ecosystem players

  • Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships and sponsorships, with clear ownership of commercial outcomes

  • Position TechBBQ as a key gateway to the Nordic startup ecosystem for global stakeholders

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with embassies, trade organizations, and international delegations

  • Expand TechBBQ’s international footprint by engaging partners and stakeholders across key markets

  • Represent TechBBQ at major events and across global ecosystem platforms

  • Work cross-functionally to translate partnerships into high-impact experiences, collaborations, and programs

Who You Are

  • Experienced in partnerships, business development, or ecosystem roles

  • A strong relationship builder in international environments

  • Commercially minded with a track record of closing partnerships

  • Comfortable leading strategic initiatives and operating hands-on
