We are currently seeking one motivated volunteer to assist our Program team, as soon as possible, for a part-time position until the end of August.

Since 2013, TechBBQ has worked to support and strengthen the Nordic ecosystem for entrepreneurship and innovation, based on the distinctive Nordic values of openness, inclusion, trust, and meeting each other at eye level. TechBBQ is Scandinavia's largest startup & innovation summit!

Your Role

As a Speaker Experience Coordinator at TechBBQ, you will be part of a dynamic team contributing to the overall pre-and during speaker experience of our guests. During the event itself, you will be running our Speaker Lounge, ensuring all our speakers have their questions answered, know where to be, and, most of all, managing the vibes of the lounge! Think of this role as an “account manager” for our speakers.

Your tasks:

• Answering queries from speakers and their teams

• Booking as managing flights and accommodation when suitable

• Manage our speaker lounge during the event days

• Manage speaker activities to elevate our speaker experience

• Ad hoc tasks required to make the stage program come to life

We imagine you to be:

• Motivated about startups

• Keeping tabs on the Nordic and European startup ecosystem

• Detail-oriented

• Move between different tasks with ease

• Somewhat of a connector with good communication skills

• Service-minded

Nice to Have (but not required):

• Experience with events

• Understanding of complex technology/entrepreneurship topics

• Stakeholder management skills
