Team & role overview

As an HR Business Partner, you will join a small but ambitious team, working closely with our two colleagues. We have many operational tasks to get across the finish line, so you must be ready to roll up your sleeves to ensure the team delivers. Your mission will be to take functional ownership of our HR processes, ensure data quality, and act as an experienced sparring partner for both your colleague and our leaders. You will refer to our Head of Legal & HR.

This is a role where you will manage your own areas of responsibility while simultaneously developing and maturing our HR setup as we scale. Currently, there is no fully implemented HR annual cycle or formalized processes. It will be your responsibility - together with the team - to ensure that we establish a professional and scalable setup.


Responsibilities:

  • Sparring partner & HR Legal: You will be responsible for several departments and serve as the leaders' daily go-to person regarding recruitment, onboarding, employment law, difficult conversations, performance, well-being, and general leadership sparring.

  • The HR Annual Cycle: You will be involved in tasks throughout the entire employee lifecycle (A-Z), including the recurring activities of the HR annual cycle. In close collaboration with the team, you will implement and manage our fixed processes to ensure they become a natural part of our DNA.

  • Operational Collaboration: You will spar with the team on daily workflows, ensuring that we collectively deliver professional service to the entire organization.

  • HR Systems & Data: You will support and help manage our HR system, HiBob.

Full-cycle Recruitment: Together with the team, you will drive our hiring processes in Teamtailor, ensuring we attract the right talent through a playful yet professional candidate journey.

Who we are looking for
We imagine that you are a "doer" who thrives on taking ownership and sees the true value in solid processes.

  • You have 2–4 years of experience from an operational HR role and have experience with recruitment. If you have experience from a tech company, it is a plus.

  • You have a solid grasp of Danish employment law and feel confident advising leaders in complex situations.

  • You have experience building processes and setting up HR structures.

  • You work in a structured and independent manner but love to collaborate and share your knowledge with others.

  • You have experience with HR systems (ideally HiBob and Teamtailor) and understand the vital importance of data integrity.

  • You communicate professionally in both Danish and English.

GoWish was originally launched in 2015 as a wishlist gimmick by the national Danish-Swedish postal service, PostNord. In 2020, it was spun out by VC Dotcom Capital, and has since the launch of its international app GoWish in 2023 evolved into a global social shopping phenomenon. GoWish is a digital platform for wish lists and inspiration, where users can easily create wishes, as well as collect and share their wish lists and inspiration lists. With a large universe of inspiration, the app is a Social Shopping platform designed to inspire users to discover products, new ideas, and trends – and to add wishes directly in the app or from any online store. Users can create wish lists for birthdays, Christmas, weddings, and any other occasion, and share them with friends and family. In this way, GoWish serves as a social tool that makes it easy to find the perfect gift while avoiding duplicate gifts and unnecessary returns.
