Team & role overview

As a Software Engineer in Test you will play a key part in ensuring that our users always get the best experience possible. Along with designing and developing tools for automation testing, you will also assist in planning process and defining testing strategies. You will work with development and cross-functional teams across the company to make sure they have the right tools, knowledge and support to deliver quality releases.

Responsibilities:

As our new Software Engineer you will:

• Design, develop and maintain automated tests (TypeScript) for web and mobile applications to ensure their functionality, performance, and scalability.

• Design and implement backend/API tests to validate the accuracy and reliability of data interactions and integrations.

• Identify and drive improvements in test framework and processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and define test strategies.

• Conduct manual testing as needed to identify issues that are not covered by automated tests.

• Write clear and concise test documentation.

What we’re looking for 🌟

We imagine that you have:

• Experience collaborating across teams to plan, prioritize and support the team

• 3+ years of experience as SDET or QA with strong automation skills.

• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript for test automation.

• Solid experience of web and/or mobile UI testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Detox)

• Hands-on experience in backend/API testing (REST, GraphQL), including data validation and integration testing.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Danish not required).

Bonus points for experience with:

• Implementing component testing.

• Performance testing experience (e.g., k6, Gatling).

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g. Google Cloud, Kubernetes).

• Guiding teams in best practices in testing.
