Cinematographer & Video Editor (Aspiring Colorist)

Salary Competitive
Equity To be negotiated

We’re growing quickly this year and frankly, I’m reaching the limit of what I can do alone. I’ve been mostly a one-man show until now, but to keep the quality where I want it, I need a dedicated creative partner to join us.

As our website says, we produce cinematic content for social media. I’m looking for someone who is a bit obsessed. Someone who actually cares about the science of a shot.

Responsibilities

  • Production: Lead cinematography, lighting, and composition for high-end social media content.

  • Post-Production: Full video editing from assembly to final delivery.

  • Color Grading: Developing unique looks, including film emulation and split toning.

  • Format Innovation: Experimenting with various aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1) and aesthetic styles (vintage, 16mm, etc.).

Technical Skills

  • Camera & Lighting: Deep understanding of composition and shaping light for a cinematic feel.

  • Software: High proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro.

  • Look Development: Ability to create custom grades and "looks" beyond basic corrections.

  • Social Trends: Ability to find and adapt visual inspiration from social media platforms.

Expectations & Requirements

  • Languages: English (Required); Danish (Preferred, but not required).

  • Work Ethic: Highly driven, ambitious, and "obsessed" with constant improvement.

  • Availability: Must be comfortable with seasons of long hours to support rapid business growth.

  • Mindset: Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of the visual quality.

I’m looking for someone ambitious. If you’re the right fit: driven, a bit of a perfectionist, and always trying to get better, I’m open to discussing different equity or leadership structures.

MUZE The Brand

MUZE The Brand creates emotionally magnetic branding and content for premium hospitality brands, helping them solve the problem of being seen but not felt, with a foundation in psychology, storytelling, and creative strategy. There’s a huge gap in how premium brands communicate with their ideal clientele. Many, from luxury hospitality and lifestyle brands, struggle to express their unique story in a way that elevates them up the “luxury ladder” of their customer’s ideal reality. They live in a noisy space where attention is sparse. They’re seen, but rarely remembered. The brands that win are the ones people feel connected to and belong to, not just the ones they buy from. That’s where we come in. We build brand worlds. We immerse ourselves in the psychology of their target audience, gain an understanding of cultural cues and emotional triggers, and design a social ecosystem, cinematic content that make a brand feel like an insider’s club. MUZE The Brand started as ABN Media when I was 19, and evolved into MUZE The Brand about a year and a half ago. I built it because I believe premium brand content has lost the plot, too much of it is safe, bland, and forgettable. In the past 10 months MUZE has grown into a team of two, with plans to expand much further as I bring on creative support. I’ve never stayed in a 9–5 for more than four months. I’ve only ever worked a handful of part-time jobs. MUZE is my life, and I pour everything I have into making it the creative partner premium brands can’t afford not to have.
