TechBBQ is seeking a highly diligent and confident candidate for the position of Startup Program & Event Manager

Responsibilities:

• Build Europe's most valuable startup program

• Recruit startups to exhibit, pitch and attend TechBBQ's Startup Program

• Manage the scope and details of the startup projects such as pitch competitions, including time, date, location, and partners in collaboration with other departments. 

• Build long-lasting relationships with founders all around Europe

• Researching and staying up-to-date with the latest tech & startup trends and developments.

• Coordinate efficient event setup, execution, breakdown, and follow-up processes.

• Recruit, Manage and inspire ‘’event day volunteers’’, creating a memorable experience for all involved.

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance attendee engagement and satisfaction.

• Develop and manage event budgets effectively.

• Negotiate vendor contracts to secure the best deals.

• Create, manage, and drive project timelines to meet deliverables and milestones.

• Monitor event logistics and services, including securing technology and equipment. 

• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to coordinate tasks

• Ad hoc - Event coordination and stakeholder management 

Requirements:

Primary requirements:

• A love for founders and the startup ecosystem

Secondary requirements:

• Fluency in written/spoken English and Danish.

• Creative and thinking out of the box.

• Event management and floor production software knowledge will be plus 

• Prior experience in planning and executing events.

• Excellent interpersonal communication, relationship-building, teamwork, and project management skills.

• A flexible and open-minded personality.

• A self-starter / doer-mentality. 

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced organization with changing priorities.

• Able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time.
