95% of all fashion brands don’t produce their own garments. We’re proud to be part of the other 5%.
Founded in Copenhagen in 2014, Son of a Tailor is one of the most pioneering menswear brands in operation today. With over one million products sold, we’ve redefined everyday essentials through custom-fit precision and a transformative made-to-order production model. Garments are produced in our own factory in Portugal, giving us full control over quality, craftsmanship, and working conditions.
As our full-time Technical Product Developer, you’ll work closely with our Product Director and play a central role in developing new products from initial concept through sampling and production handover.
The role sits at the intersection of product thinking, technical development, and production execution. You’ll contribute actively to product decisions, translating trends and ideas into well-built garments through hands-on development, sampling, and close collaboration with our own production setup. Working across teams and disciplines, you’ll help ensure products meet our standards for fit, materials, construction, and launch readiness.
Partner with the Product Director to identify and develop new product opportunities aligned with brand direction.
