About us ☁️

Ønskeskyen / GoWish is the world’s leading wishlist and gifting app, helping millions of users discover and share their wishes. With over 2 billion products in our catalog and a rapidly growing user base, we’re on a mission to redefine the way people shop, share, and celebrate life’s moments.

Our Product department is structured around three core teams: Activation, Wishing Experience and Personalization. Each product team operates as a cross-functional unit consisting of a Product Manager, Product Designer, Tech Team Lead, and a dedicated group of backend and frontend developers. Together, we collaborate closely to design seamless, intuitive, and high-impact experiences for our users' gifting journeys.

Your New Role
As the Activation Product Manager, you will own the full lifecycle of user activation and reactivation, shaping every user touchpoint from first contact to long-term retention. You will orchestrate the communication around how users move through onboarding, early value discovery, engagement loops, notifications, emails, nudges, and reactivation flows.

Your work will ensure that users receive the right message, in the right flow, at the right moment. You will build and optimise journey-level systems such as CEM features, nudges, triggered notifications, and dormant/churn flows forming the behavioural engine behind activation and retention. You’ll play a central role in ensuring alignment between your product team, commercial and growth teams.

This role is perfect for someone who thinks in systems, funnels, and lifecycle loops, loves shaping precisely timed user experiences, and is motivated by seeing measurable improvements in user behaviour.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, map, and optimise the full activation journey, driving improvements across onboarding, reactivation, notifications, email flows, and user engagement journeys.

  • Own and evolve a multi-channel touchpoint system (push, email, in-app nudges) and manage scenario-specific triggered flows to maximise the right actions at the right moments.

  • Scope out the requirements for developing the CEM capabilities and core journey management foundations that power notifications, emails, and event-based triggers.

  • Collaborate with commercial, growth and other product teams to define, scope, and deliver impactful activation-related projects.

  • Analyze user behaviour, funnel metrics, and engagement data to identify opportunities to activate and reactivate users.

  • Use A/B testing and behavioural analytics to validate improvements and guide future iterations.

What we’re looking for

Must have:

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in activation, lifecycle, growth, or user-journey focused roles.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using funnel, retention, and behavioural data.

  • Ability to design and optimise multi-step user flows (onboarding, activation, retention) and coordinating multi-channel touchpoints (push, email, in-app nudges).

  • Clear communicator who can write scopes and align with engineering, design, data, and growth teams.

  • Experience running A/B tests and iterating quickly based on results.

  • Data-driven, structured, collaborative, and focused on measurable user behaviour improvement.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with CRM/CEM systems or lifecycle automation platforms.

  • Background in mobile consumer apps or products with viral/engagement loops.

  • Exposure to retention modelling, segmentation, or personalization systems.

  • Familiarity with ClickUp, A/B testing tools, product analytics platforms, and tracking systems.

Working at
GoWish, Ønskeskyen

GoWish was originally launched in 2015 as a wishlist gimmick by the national Danish-Swedish postal service, PostNord. In 2020, it was spun out by VC Dotcom Capital, and has since the launch of its international app GoWish in 2023 evolved into a global social shopping phenomenon. GoWish is a digital platform for wish lists and inspiration, where users can easily create wishes, as well as collect and share their wish lists and inspiration lists. With a large universe of inspiration, the app is a Social Shopping platform designed to inspire users to discover products, new ideas, and trends – and to add wishes directly in the app or from any online store. Users can create wish lists for birthdays, Christmas, weddings, and any other occasion, and share them with friends and family. In this way, GoWish serves as a social tool that makes it easy to find the perfect gift while avoiding duplicate gifts and unnecessary returns.
