DANSIC is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Student Ambassadors to help us build community, mobilize students, and bring our mission to life across different campuses.

About DANSIC

DANSIC is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organisation aimed at fostering social innovation and entrepreneurship. Each year, DANSIC explores a new sustainability challenge — and this year, we’re focusing on how AI is shaping student life, learning, and future work.  

Our goal is to support students across disciplines in navigating an AI-shaped future with confidence and critical awareness. To do that, we’re building a series of events, workshops, and community activities — and we need ambassadors to help us reach students across multiple campuses.

About the role

Please note: This is a volunteering position 

As a Student Ambassador, you’ll help strengthen DANSIC’s presence across universities and support our efforts to mobilise and engage students. This is a unique opportunity to bring your creativity, ideas, and energy into a meaningful social movement while working alongside a passionate and multidisciplinary team. 

The work of DANSIC is diverse, and so are we. Therefore, we encourage people from different backgrounds to apply. No matter where you come from, whether you are a social scientist or a technical nerd – if you have the motivation, don’t hesitate to apply! 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Represent DANSIC on your campus and help mobilize students for events and initiatives 

• Contribute to planning and running events, workshops, and community activities 

• Support outreach by connecting DANSIC with relevant groups, classes, or networks 

• Help create inclusive, welcoming environments that encourage student participation 

• Join volunteer/ambassador meetings and share ideas to strengthen engagement

Skills & Qualifications: 

• Friendly, proactive, and comfortable engaging with new people 

• Good communication skills and a reliable, collaborative mindset 

• Eager to learn new things 

• A genuine interest in social innovation, sustainability, and/or AI 

• Ability to commit approximately 2-3 hours per week to DANSIC activities (fluctuating workload depending on the season but we are also flexible around exams or other obligations you may have)
