About DANSIC

DANSIC is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization aimed at fostering social innovation and entrepreneurship. We bring together students, social entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to develop solutions for social and environmental challenges. Our mission is to inspire the development of sustainable social enterprises and engage with leaders across all sectors.

About the role

We are looking for a Finance & Strategic Partnerships Volunteer to help strengthen our partnerships ecosystem and support our financial planning. You’ll be part of the team that builds long-term relationships, brings in sponsors, maintains budgets, and ensures that our projects and events can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and nurture partnerships with sponsors, companies, and organizations aligned with DANSIC’s mission

• Reach out to potential collaborators and maintain strong, professional relationships

• Contribute to fundraising efforts and explore creative ways to secure resources

• Support budgeting, financial planning, and tracking of project expenses

• Collaborate with volunteers across departments to align finance with project needs

• Join weekly meetings where ideas flow, plans take shape, and yes! the coffee is free ☕

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills - you’re comfortable reaching out, connecting, and following up

• Organized and detail-oriented - you like things to be clear, structured, and accurate

• Basic understanding of accounting, budgeting, and financial planning; comfortable with numbers and Excel/Google Sheets

• Strategic mindset and curiosity - you spot opportunities and think creatively

• Interest in social innovation and sustainability, able to commit around 2–3 hours per week (some weeks busier, some lighter depending on the season)
