Are you a student working with AI, sustainability, digital ethics, or tech for social good? Do you want to grow professionally, meet industry experts, and help shape how young people engage with AI in Denmark? Then you might be exactly who we’re looking for! ✨
Dansic is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization aimed at fostering social innovation and entrepreneurship. We bring together students, social entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to develop solutions for social and environmental challenges. Our mission is to inspire the development of sustainable social enterprises and engage with leaders across all sectors.
For 2025, we’re diving into a topic that affects all of us: AI, sustainability, and the future of human empowerment.
We want to explore questions like:
How can AI support greener, fairer, and more sustainable societies?
How do we address ethics, risks, and transparency without creating fear?
How do we empower young professionals to see AI as a creative companion rather than a threat?
And how can communities use AI responsibly to innovate for social good?
We don’t have all the answers yet — and that’s the exciting part. You’ll join us in shaping the direction.
Throughout the year, DANSIC will host:
panel debates with experts in AI, ethics, and sustainability
interactive workshops exploring responsible and creative uses of AI
collaborations with startups, researchers, and organisations in Denmark
activities aimed at empowering students and young professionals to navigate the AI era confidently
We are looking for students who bring knowledge, curiosity, and passion for AI and sustainability. You don’t need to be an expert — you just need to care, experiment, and want to grow. These are some ways you can contribute:
Contributing background knowledge on AI, ethics, sustainability or tech policy
Helping shape the direction of our events and discussions
Exploring current debates in responsible AI development
Translating complex AI ideas into accessible content
Supporting communication for events and workshops
Helping develop concepts that bring AI closer to young audiences
Planning events with experts and innovators
Helping manage partnerships and outreach
Supporting interactive sessions that empower participants
Students of AI, computer science, sustainability studies, digital humanities, innovation, philosophy of technology, communication, data science, tech policy, or related fields
Curiosity about how AI interacts with society, ethics, or the environment
A willingness to learn, collaborate, and bring your perspective to the team
We expect that each role will require about 3 - 4 hours of your time per week. There might be busier periods based on our progress, but we are also flexible around exams or other obligations you may have.
We will meet once a week to discuss our progress and next steps.
Insight into Denmark’s innovation and AI ecosystem
Hands-on experience with event planning and cross-sector collaboration
A chance to connect with experts in AI ethics, sustainability, and tech innovation
A supportive community of peers who want to grow together
A meaningful volunteering experience that builds your CV and confidence
The opportunity to shape how young people engage with AI as a force for good
These are volunteering - and therefore unpaid - opportunities. However, we still believe that it is worth it!
Sounds interesting? We certainly hope so!

We encourage especially students and recent graduates to apply! However, even if you don’t fit into these categories, you are still very welcome to send your application - we are most of all looking for people with the right motivation and willingness to learn and grow with us.
