Dansic is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organisation aimed at fostering social innovation and entrepreneurship. We bring together students, social entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to develop solutions for social and environmental challenges. Our mission is to inspire the development of sustainable social enterprises and engage with leaders across all sectors.
We’re working on a research project focusing on international students on the Danish labour market. The aim is to examine differences between these students’ approach to job search and the following outcomes.
We will employ a mixed methods approach, examining first which groups of individuals struggle the most in their job search. Later on, based on our results, we will interview individuals representing these groups to examine their experiences on a deeper level.
We are looking to fill these three positions:
Quantitative Data Specialist
Key responsibilities:
Quantitative data analysis
Interpreting and visualising results
Writing in both academic and popular science styles
Skills and Qualifications:
Good skills in data analysis
Knowledge of statistics
Interest in Bayesian statistics
Qualitative Data Specialist
Key responsibilities:
Preparing and leading interviews
Analysing and interpreting results
Setting the theoretical background of our research
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication and writing skills
Knowledge of qualitative data analysis
Interest in intersectionality in the European context
Data Manager
Key responsibilities:
Researching secondary data sources
Developing and implementing data collection strategies
Assuring that all ethical requirements are followed
Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of research methodologies and data collection
Good knowledge of research ethics
We expect that each role will require about 3 - 4 hours of your time per week. There might be busier periods based on our progress, but we are also flexible around exams or other obligations you may have.
We will meet once a week to discuss our progress and next steps.
