Salary Unpaid

Hey there!

Are you a student or a young professional, passionate about research, data, social innovation and the international community in Denmark? Are you a social scientist looking for opportunities to gain experience and expand your network? Then keep reading because we might be looking for you!

About DANSIC

Dansic is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organisation aimed at fostering social innovation and entrepreneurship. We bring together students, social entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to develop solutions for social and environmental challenges. Our mission is to inspire the development of sustainable social enterprises and engage with leaders across all sectors.

About the research

We’re working on a research project focusing on international students on the Danish labour market. The aim is to examine differences between these students’ approach to job search and the following outcomes.

We will employ a mixed methods approach, examining first which groups of individuals struggle the most in their job search. Later on, based on our results, we will interview individuals representing these groups to examine their experiences on a deeper level.

On a practical note:

We expect that each role will require about 3 - 4 hours of your time per week. There might be busier periods based on our progress, but we are also flexible around exams or other obligations you may have.

We will meet once a week to discuss our progress and next steps.

And what’s in it for you?

  • Gain hands-on experience in conducting research

  • Get a unique chance to expand your knowledge and professional network

  • Collaborate with other motivated researchers and members of Dansic

  • And, if everything goes well, get a chance to publish an article together!

These are volunteering - and therefore unpaid - opportunities. However, we still believe that it is worth it!

Sounds interesting? We certainly hope so!
