We’re looking for two people — a commercial profile and a technical profile — to take over a product we’ve built, but no longer have time to grow ourselves.
The product is called Lumina Pulse. It’s a simple tool for identifying trends in open-web media. It gives users AI contextualisation of trends every morning based on relevant open-web media and articles — or weekly and monthly overviews built on the same data.
It was built as an alternative to traditional media monitoring: less noise, more context. There’s a pilot customer, that has used it since Q3 2024, and the feedback so far is positive. It’s developed in close collaboration with the pilot customer, a leading Danish design agency, to ensure it’s perfectly aligned with the needs of its core audience.
Technically, it’s a piece of intelligent software, combined with AI and a lot of media APIs, and of course some clever code tying it all together.
But we, the founders, have shifted focus as a company and don’t have capacity to run or develop this branch further. We don’t want to shut it down, so instead, we’re spinning it out. The idea is to find a team of two people to take over and run it as a new company. We’ll retain a third of the ownership through our parent company and leave the remaining two-thirds to the people who take it over.
We’ll therefore also stay involved as an active advisory board — helping with concept development, idea feedback, connections, and other parts of getting something off the ground. Not to run the show, but to support you as you do.
The role
We’re looking for someone to take on the commercial side. That includes:
Talking to users and understanding what works (and what doesn’t)
Figuring out who else this could be useful for
Exploring pricing, outreach, and positioning
Taking responsibility for the growth and direction of the product
You’ll work closely with your technical co-founder (we’re hiring that role too). This only works if it’s a team.
We’ll support you during a handover period and will always be available for sparring, concept development and support, but the direction and execution will be yours.
Who you might be
You might be a student, a recent grad, or someone just starting out. You’re curious about business, communication, or media — and interested in how tech products can solve real problems.
You don’t need years of experience. You just need to be motivated, open to learning, and willing to take responsibility for something that’s real. If you’ve tried building or pitching something before (even as a school project), that helps — but it’s not required.
This is a chance to build something, with existing traction and product, and with ownership, from day one.
