We are currently looking for motivated volunteers/interns to assist our team, from June 1st, 8 to 25 hours a week until the end of September.

Since 2013, TechBBQ has worked to support and strengthen the Nordic ecosystem for entrepreneurship and innovation, based on the distinctive Nordic values of openness, inclusion, trust, and meeting each other at eye level. TechBBQ is Scandinavia's largest startup & innovation summit!

For the Nordic-Africa Startup Summit we are looking for a long-term intern, 10 - 15 hours per week. The candidate should have an interest in Africa's history, development and entrepreneurship (startups). You may be a student at RUC (Development Studies), CBS (Entrepreneurship) or UCPH (African Studies) and have a solid grasp of the English language.

Your Role

As a intern/volunteer at TechBBQ, you will be part of a dynamic team contributing to various aspects of the event and its preparations.

Your Tasks May Include:

• Supporting marketing and communications efforts.

• Assisting with event planning and coordination.

• Helping with social media and content creation.

• Assisting with partnerships and outreach.

• Providing on-site event support during the summit.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

• Is motivated and eager to learn

• Works in a structured & organized manner

• Has an interest in Africa and it’s growth

• Understands that everyone wins if the team wins

• Has a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation

Nice to Have (But Not Required):

• Experience with graphic design, video editing, or social media management

• Knowledge of WordPress & Elementor

• Previous event planning or marketing experience
