TechBBQ is looking for motivated PR Assistants to join our communications team from June 2 to the end of September (21–37 hours/week). This is a chance to work closely with the Head of PR & Communications and gain hands-on experience with real media work, high-level coordination, and storytelling in a high-impact setting.

Your Role We have four different PR Assistant roles within our team – ranging from event coordination to media relations, content, and speaker matchmaking. When you apply, we’ll look at your qualifications, experience, and interests to match you with the role that fits best.

Your Tasks May Include:

• Drafting and proofreading press releases, social posts, and other external content

• Coordinating media relations and press outreach

• Supporting our press conference and working with partners who launch reports or research

• Managing speaker/media matchmaking and communication logistics

• Leading a small group of event-day volunteers

• Assisting with planning, scheduling, and on-site press/media operations

• Helping us create an unforgettable experience for press, partners, and guests alike

  
  

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

• Is curious, motivated, and eager to learn

• Communicates clearly and professionally in English (Danish is a bonus)

• Works in a structured and organized way – especially under pressure

• Enjoys juggling multiple tasks and love working with people

• Is interested in PR, tech, startups, media or events

  
  

Nice to Have (But Not Required):

• Experience in event planning or media relations

• Familiarity with stakeholder or partner management

• An eye for detail and deadlines – and a proactive mindset
