In this role, you have the opportunity to shape our growth trajectory directly, building partnerships across the organization, translating financial data into actionable insights, and ensuring our business leaders are equipped to make informed decisions.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide financial and operational insights (both in monthly business reviews and on an ad hoc basis) to support business leaders in making informed decisions.
- Develop a deep understanding of departmental costs and financial trends, tracking them closely to identify patterns and opportunities.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to align financial strategies with departmental goals.
- Support budget processes and forecasts to ensure the business's evolving needs are reflected in ongoing financial planning.
- Monitor key financial and operational metrics, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
What You Could Bring
- Master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a similar field.
- Deep financial literacy from 5+ years of experience in a relevant role within a finance organization or financial consulting firm.
- Experience working with subscription accounting and related accrual processes.
- Deep analytical insight that facilitates the deconstruction of complicated business situations to reveal essential components.
- Highly developed communication abilities, featuring a comprehensive understanding of how to clearly and succinctly share financial and operational information.
- Adept at collaboration, with significant experience interacting with senior stakeholders in lively situations.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work presented externally.
- Fluency in English (both verbally and written).
- A deep understanding of commercial software KPIs (LTV, CAC, etc.) and the ability to generate actionable insights from these are prerequisites for this role.
