Front-end developer intern with a drive for implementation

Salary Unpaid

At Lumina we're building ML models to support the infrastructure of the EV charger network.

Who are you?

You're probably a student, currently enrolled in your bachelor program, studying something in the likes of x, y, z-

However, we're neither study or experience critical, meaning, we'd love to hear from you, even though you might not align perfectly on paper. It's what you can and want to do, not what you have already done, that is of value to us.

You most likely enjoy freedom, creativity and the possibility to create. We're fast paced, but not beyond reason, valuing personal space, work-life balance and just in general, being happy while here.

We expect the main toolbox for an internship like this to include React, Typescript, Figma, Chart.js and Tailwind, however, we're open for suggestions and alternatives.

What will you do?

You will, with our head of product, Sofus, and designer, Mikkel, be assisting with frontend development on the product platform, where we wish to visualize model output and key peformance metrics. Your opinion will be equally weighted as to ours, and your expertise and approach will be of upmost value to our setup.

We both expect and allow you to be you, meaning that you will have crucial impact on how the platform will be done. Your reins are free.

Our hopes are that we find a long-term fit through you, with the possibility of hire after internship.

What are we?

We are a niche ML-based company, focusing on the underlying infrastructure of the EV charge point network.

Where are we?

Our main product, Charger Health, is currently being built in a partnership with one of the Nordic region's largest Charge Point Management Systems, whom are providing the necessary data to construct a predictive maintenance model of this size.

Parallel to this, we're building the brand, identity and business model of our company, while also approaching potential costumers for initial relation establishment and letters of intent. At this point, we're beyond market validation and have pending commercial partnerships.

Physically, we're located in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, where we collaborate, exchange ideas and develop, preferably together. We're prefer to be on-site, but have no problems with the occasional remote work, which will go for you as well.

Who are we?

Our current team consists of 3 data scientists and a business dev/ design lead. We are in need of you, who can construct and implement the frontend development of our product platform.

When?

We're looking for fall interns, that can start sometime in start Q4 2024.

If you have any questions, you're more than welcome to send an email to us.

Working at
Lumina

We use Machine Learning to predict charge point failures in advance, allowing operators to hinder downtime and reduce repair costs. The problem is a low stability across the charge point infrastructure network of many European countries, with it being reflected in both consumers and legislation. Predictive maintenance (PdM) enables overview and control of charge point networks. It allows for pre-emptive downtime through carefully scheduled reboots, updates or maintenance. It can help ensure high levels of reliability, an infrastructural foundational need of upmost importance in the transition to electrical vehicles for all providers, operators and nations. Our core goal is to achieve high model performance. By attaining high performance, our model will position Lumina as the preferred predictive maintenance partner in the EV market.
