Sales Development Representative

Join TechBBQ team as a Sales Development Representative and take on the exciting challenge of spearheading our direct ticket for TechBBQ 2024! 

Responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for ticket sales to our stakeholders, conducting market research, and achieving sales targets.

About TechBBQ:

TechBBQ started out as a small BBQ gathering for tech enthusiasts and entrepreneurs back in 2013 in a park in Copenhagen. Over the years, we have grown and evolved into the largest and most ‘hyggelig’ event of its kind in Scandinavia.

Every September, we welcome an increasing number of people from around the globe. Our annual summit expertly connects tech & hygge: it is designed so that you can meet innovative and groundbreaking startups in the ecosystem, discuss the latest trends, network in a cozy and vibrant atmosphere, get inspired by trendsetting speakers – and enjoy a good old-fashioned BBQ!

In 2024, we will be hosting our 12th event on the 11th and 12th of September.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales development strategy to generate direct ticket sales to our attendees

  • Be responsible for direct outreach, prospecting, and qualifying leads for ticket sales for TechBBQ

  • Conduct market research for new targets and opportunities Identify opportunities for selling our product 

  • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals

  • Analyse data and report on the process

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and objectives (customer success management and dealing with customer inquiries)

  • Cross-departmental collaboration on ticket sales, ticket management, and alignment


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales or SDR role (minimum 1 year)

  • Experience in customer service, customer success management is a plus

  • Adaptability and teamwork skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Danish is a bonus)

  • Sales and negotiation skills

  • Goal-oriented mindset and problem-solving nature
