We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us at Senpage Consulting. If you are interested in gaining experience in UI/ UX design, and are currently pursuing higher education, or have recently graduated, or with 1+yrs of experience, this position is for you!

As a member of the UI/ UX team, you get the opportunity to make your very own mark on the organization's future, together with other volunteers who work together with the development of Senpage Consulting.

It is important for us to build a close relationship with our customers to implement the best solution for them - and together we solve the problems that arise. We shall be able to guide our customers and inform them about the consequences and possibilities – being their trusted advisor. You will develop your self-determination skills and get the opportunity to shape the agenda for the tasks.

What we expect from you:

• Prior UI / UX design or volunteer experience (desirable)

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• You can commit to at least 15 hours a month

• Have a positive can-do attitude

• Based in Copenhagen

You don’t need to have a lot of experience, but we expect you to be able to work independently – we are a team of volunteers, so we all work asynchronously.

We imagine that you, in collaboration with the other volunteers in the team, will be responsible for:

• Familiar with UI / UX design & development and maintaining platforms with familiarity with existing UI / UX web technologies like Webflow, Squarespace, Figma, Adobe suite, Sketch etc.

• Collaborate closely with the Product Engineering Team, contributing designs, UI workflows and layouts during sprint meetings and actively identify new alternative layout design approaches in the development life cycle. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high quality design into a seamless experience.

• Design creative solutions that align with clients brand identities and enhance user experience. You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects such as creating branding materials, designing websites, or developing engaging user interfaces.

• Collaborate with teammates in order to identify issues and areas of improvement develop a strategy in the preexisting frontend and admin panels.

• Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify issues. You have adequate knowledge of design concepts and eagerness to learn and grow in the field.

• Ability to work effectively or independently under the guidance of more senior managers, engineers and stakeholders as adapt to feedback.
