Creative Video Producer

Salary Competitive

Do you want to help Son of a Tailor reengineer the clothing industry by developing groundbreaking brand creative work?

We’re taking made-to-order mainstream!

Fashion is one of the most dynamic, creative industries on the planet. But it also has its problems: overconsumption, incredibly high waste, and an opaque supply chain that mistreats garment workers. What if we could fix these problems, and deliver better products at the same time?

Introducing Son of a Tailor.

We’re reengineering the clothing industry with made-to-order. Made-to-order means we don’t produce anything until it's sold. This way, we design overproduction out of the equation. With our Perfect Fit algorithm it requires just 30 seconds and no measuring tape to create your perfect size.

We have no plans of slowing down, and are therefore on the lookout for a Creative Video Producer. Someone who’ll join our Brand & Marketing team, and help us shape the future of clothing. You’ll be doing creative work that’ll make us famous by taking the lead on creative projects with video content as the main asset output.

You’re a born storyteller, and your head bursts with ideas when it comes to new ways to activate brands and create awareness. Building and executing on creative concepts all the way from inception to delivery comes naturally to you.  Besides that, you’re a creative spirit who brings energy and motivation into any team. You know when the concept requires you to hold the camera, and when it’s necessary to involve external partners to get it done.

Does this sound like you, then keep reading;

  • Have ownership of all video production.

  • Develop creative work and ideas with a video output that ties into the brand strategy and brand platform.

  • Depending on the concept, you’ll either shoot the content yourself or be the creative producer that takes the idea from concept to the final product.

  • Video art directing in photoshoots.

  • Along with the rest of the team, participate in or take responsibility for developing creative ideas and concepts for other non-video creative endeavors.

  • Constantly push yourself to learn new skills and then where appropriate apply them to improve your creative process and output.

  • Are an experienced creative storyteller with an excellent portfolio that covers most parts from pre to post production.

  • Know how to get things done; Sometimes that requires that you pick up the camera, other times you’re the producer and let others handle the camera. No matter what, your focus is getting the task done.

  • Have sense of how to get the consumers’ attention in 2024 with video production, mainly for social media channels. Your focus is telling engaging and unique stories, distinct to the Son of a Tailor brand. Sometimes this requires a more "polished" end result, sometimes it's more handheld, literally and figuratively.

  • Are able to scope, orchestrate, and deliver on complex deliveries from start to finish, and then you’re easy to work with, and respected for your fast and high quality execution.

  • Bring 4-7 years of experience within the field. Having said that, experience is great but a great portfolio is better.

You have a chance to take part in changing the clothing industry! We’re here to prove there’s a different way to make and sell clothes. You’ll be working with something very exciting: the future of clothing!

You’ll be the first hire with a main focus on video production, but the ambition is to eventually grow this into a bigger team, offering you the opportunity to build that roster along the way.

We’re a passionate bunch of +50 people, from more than 7 nations. Headquartered in Copenhagen, but with roughly half being located in Portugal and a few fully remote in 3 other countries. Our mission is ambitious, we’re looking for people who want to join us for the ride - our growth will be your growth. We empower our employees to be bold, optimistic, and to challenge the status quo - but don’t worry, you will not stand alone. You’ll have an entire group of equally talented and passionate people to support you. In general we believe that we’re stronger and better together, and that we with a ton of boldness can change the world, at least the entire clothing industry.

You’ll enter into our Brand & Marketing team and report to our CMO. Along with him, your closest colleagues will be our Senior Communications Manager and Co-founder/Art Director, along with a few external marketing consultants.

Real-life humans, each with their own unique set of identities, cultures, thoughts and beliefs, with backgrounds and bodies that are completely individual. Together, as unique individuals, we stand stronger.

We’re committed to providing an environment of mutual respect. Where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates. That’s only achievable if our team reflects the diversity of the world around us - and that starts with you applying. We embrace and encourage people from all backgrounds to apply - regardless of race, color, religion or belief, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or any other status.

We’re looking for the perfect fit and know that those fits can take time to find. Though we hope to find our perfect match as soon as possible, submit your application today, as we’ll be doing ongoing interviews.

Working at
Son of a Tailor

Since the beginning of mass production a hundred years ago, the clothing industry has not treated its people, products or our planet well. The arrival of e-commerce, with its increased return rates and squeezed margins, only caused worse conditions and more waste in an already careless industry. Son of a Tailor has changed this. Through technology and a lean supply chain, we are fundamentally changing how apparel is made. We have no inventories, always do custom fit on demand, we create much less waste, and reconnect the link between those who make the garments and those who wear them. We are a clothing tech company. We have customers basically around the world, a fantastic team in Denmark and Portugal and we get great reviews by GQ, Esquire and Highsnobiety, to name a few.
