Event Team Leader/ Volunteering

We are currently looking for ten Event Team Leader volunteers, to assist our Event department during the event week (the second week of September)

As a Team Leader at TechBBQ, you'll have the opportunity to gain experience in managing a group of people, expand your professional network, and immerse yourself in the exciting world of startups and innovation in Scandinavia.

Your tasks can include:

• Oversee a group of ‘’event day volunteers’’ and their responsibilities, ensuring everyone is on track

• Take charge as the practical site manager of a specific area at the event

• Take on ad-hoc tasks around the venue

Timeline: 

• We need you to be able to come for a few hours in late August for the ‘’team leader briefing’’, as well as for 2 hours of volunteer briefing in the first week of September.

• We need you to be available for the event days (either 13.09 or 14.09 all day)

We are looking for someone with:

• Fluency in written/spoken English,

• A flexible and open-minded personality,

• A self-starter / doer-mentality,

• Good organizational and time management skills,

• Able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time,

• Would be a plus to have an interest in startups and technology,
