We are currently seeking a highly motivated and creative Packaging Design Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of packaging design and learn from our experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

As a Packaging Design Intern, you will:

1. Assist in the research and development of new packaging concepts and materials.

2. Collaborate with our design team to create 3D mock-ups and prototypes.

3. Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD) to develop and refine packaging concepts.

4. Support the design team with the creation and adaptation of print-ready files for packaging production.

5. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance packaging designs.

6. Attend client meetings and present design concepts when needed.

7. Help maintain project files, documentation, and design assets.

You

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field.

• Ability to effectively communicate and persuade around design concepts

• Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve

• Experience with graphic apps such as Figma, Illustrator, Sketch, Principle, or other design applications

• Working knowledge of design principles, typography, user interfaces, Web standards and usability

• Thrive in a fast-paced working environment, owning deadlines and striving for efficiency

• Positively and go-getter attitude

• Optional: experience with 3D rendering such as Adobe Dimension

• Basic knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability best practices.

• A portfolio showcasing your design skills, preferably with examples of packaging design projects.
