Factofly is a fast growing startup on a mission to make the lives of freelancers easier.

Factofly handles ALL administrative tasks for freelancers, gig workers and side-hustlers so they can focus on customers and delivery - not the pains of running their own business. 

The Position: 

We are looking for a full-stack engineer to join our team and lead the development of the platform together with our CTO. You will step into a small team where you will be expected to take responsibility and will be a central part in shaping the future of the Factofly product.

🤌 Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

• Design client-side and server-side architecture

• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

• Write effective APIs

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

• Create security and data protection settings

• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

• Write technical documentation

• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

  
  

⚡️ Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

• Experience developing web applications

• Knowledge of the Next.js framework, including Node.js and React.

• Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. Bootstrap, React)

• Knowledge of back-end languages (e.g. Node)

• Familiarity with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker)

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Great attention to detail

• Organizational skills

• An analytical mind

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field

⚙️ How it works:

Freelancers send their invoices through Factofly and are automatically insured while working, they pay a 6% service fee on the invoice amount (pre tax) and receive their money directly. VAT, tax, reporting etc. are all handled by FF.

The freelance-economy is growing rapidly with a CAGR of 19%. Freelancers will be dominating the workforce by 2030 due to an increasing demand for a flexible work-life by the individual and an increase in work on demand by enterprises. 

🚀 Where are we now and where do we want to go:

Factofly has seen great traction over the last 12 months, and we are expecting to triple the business in 2022. Factofly is currently operating in Denmark with an ambition to cross borders in the near future. Current focus is to deliver a world class admin-free experience for freelancers.

We have recently closed our pre-seed round to help bring Factofly to the next level, and the team currently consists of 4 FTE and 2 PT. We are located at the buzzy startup house Talengarden by the Opera in Copenhagen, with catered lunch and a nice café.

We regularly call for interviews and will close the position when the right candidate has been found.
