This is a paid full-time position, to start as soon as possible. Salary will be negotiated based on experience. You have to live in Copenhagen or be willing to relocate to Copenhagen.
We are an ambitious deep-tech robotics startup based in Copenhagen. We are developing mobile robots to assist nurses by automating the transport of small items in hospital wards. We are on a mission to reduce nurse burnout and strengthen the healthcare system to continue to deliver world-class patient care.
We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to support the development of our first mobile robots. You will work with our mobile robots to mature our navigation stack and ensure it works safely and robustly in hospitals - dynamic environments, that are constantly changing.
This position is focused on software, but experience and passion for hardware are always appreciated. Your key responsibilities will be:
Code solutions in C++ and Python, with a focus on tests and good software design.
Robot navigation: Take the lead in maturing and enhancing our navigation software.
Robot localization: Developing a robust system from localization in dynamic environments by combining classical SLAM approaches with AI and computer vision.
Maintain and troubleshoot our current software stack.
Design and conceptualization of new software features.
The responsibilities will not be limited to these areas. Based on your experience and ambition, you can take on different challenges.
We expect that you will bring the following skills to our team:
Experience coding in C++, preferably at a production level quality.
Experience developing robotic solutions with ROS - preferably ROS2.
Experience working in Linux.
Experience with sensor technologies and simulation frameworks.
You are fluent in both spoken and written English.
Hold a Master’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Autonomous Systems, or similar
