Yuman is an ambitious Copenhagen-based startup addressing one of the major challenges facing healthcare - the shortage of nurses. Yuman has been recognised as the TOP robotics startup in Europe in 2022, and received the Best Startup of the Year Award by Odense Robotics in 2023. Our goal is to free up nurses from simple, but time-consuming tasks so they can focus on care tasks that require a personal touch. To achieve this, we are developing innovative mobile robots that assist nurses as their own "transport buddies" by automating the delivery of food, medicine and laundry in hospital wards. Our robots are currently operating in two Danish hospitals, assisting nurses around the clock.
