We're looking for a Production Manager to run and develop our production in our newly set-up factory in Nordhavn, Central Copenhagen.
We produce flavour enhancers based on sidestreams and excess produce. Our aim is to turn waste from the food- and agriculture industry into delicious tasting liquids, pastes and powders. This includes both plant- and animal-based waste, such as egglaying chickens, faulty mushrooms. We do this through large-scale fermentation.
The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, overseeing and partaking in processing, packaging and clean-up/sanitizing.
Experience within food production and equipment, fermentation, facility and machinery maintenance, food safety, tracking inventory, managing production employees and organizing workflows, is important.
Knowledge of large machinery/equipment and operations/maintenance is a huge plus.
You will be working closely with a talented R/D team with lab facilities who will constantly strive to both improve and challenge standards of production.
Passion for food and fermentation is also a plus.

Organic Umami Drops, Chicken
Organic Umami Drops, Mushroom
Organic Chicken Stock
Organic Veal Stock
Organic Vegetable Stock
Shellfish Stock
All of the above are established in the market, both in retail and wholesale - with the
exception of Organic Umami Drops, Mushroom. They're all based on different varieties of waste streams from the food industry.
We produce both types of Umami Drops at our factory in Nordhavn, Copenhagen. This is where the Production Manager will have his/hers day-to-day.
Right now we're working on bringing the next product to market. The Umami Drops based on mushrooms. It will be the first of many exciting projects that will be the main part of the job as we continuously strive to deliver more solutions to address different food waste problems –creating flavorful products in the process – Taste From Waste.
