INTEGRATION DEVELOPER

We are looking for an operational minded Integration developer to maintain, develop and support the integration interfaces to the Effectmakers Business Management System. You will be part of our operations group and coordinate with the whole business as well as clients to develop, implement and support throughout the software lifecycle.

THE POSITION

We are looking for an operational minded integration developer to maintain, develop and support the integration interfaces to the Effectmakers Business Management System. You will be part of our operations group and will be responsible for both setting up new clients as well as creating and maintain integrations for existing clients. We are working with design patterns and SQL Server technologies as BCP and Bulkload. Most of the integrations are based on simple csv file exchanges and the challenging part of the jobs is more the understanding of data and the supported business processes, rather than the technologies used. The integrations we work with are mainly about product master data, sales planning data and financial P&L data.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating and maintaining interfaces based on Microsoft SQL Server (stored procedures, BCP, Bulkload)

• Daily operations, monitoring and support

• Ensure data updates reliability

• Analyze data exchange files and document technical and business specifications

• Continuously improve and document our design patterns

• Testing the integration interfaces in controlled, real environments before going live

• Recommend improvements to existing programs and technology as necessary

You will be working with Microsoft technologies, especially SQL Server and Visual Studio.NET.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information technology, Software engineering or relevant is required

• Master’s degree is an advantage

• You have 3-5 years of experience from a similar role

• Experience from IT departments in CPG/FMCG companies is an advantage

• You are an expert in SQL

• You are strong in data modeling and SQL Servers

• Proven skill on both the technologies and business side

• You have a strong business understanding

• You are a quick learner

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English is a must

• Being flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary

• You have strong attention to detail

• You are able and willing to assist co-workers, supervisors, and clients in a cooperative manner

• You work well under pressure as part of a team

Furthermore, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, a natural curiosity for knowledge and development, and logical thinking.
