Reduced is a food production company based in Copenhagen.

We reduce food waste and replace it with taste.

Using IP and recipes to create deep and intense flavour from upcycled produce, we sell our products under the Reduced brand via retail, D2C and the food service industry.

We have created a unique process of making flavour enhancers based on upcycled ingredients and have just finalized a production facility for the creation of organic fermented products on an industrial scale in Copenhagen.

Our pilot products had great traction in Denmark, and we are now ready to launch into European export markets.

Sales director at Reduced

We are looking for a great talent to join our small but fast-growing team as sales director.

You must have an entrepreneurial mindset, good energy and experience within the F&B industry.

As sales director at Reduced you will be responsible for growing sales within different markets. You will develop and execute on a multi-year sales plan and have a critical impact on the business.

 Our portfolio consists of premium stocks and flavour enhancers: Organic, clean label and made from side streams and upcycled ingredients.

This role demands experience in sales, high ambitions, and the ability lead and hire new people as we grow. You will report directly to our CEO. The position is new and based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify, acquire, and grow sales in on & off trade accounts.

  • Win new business and drive ROS in all accounts.

  • Build annual strategies for key accounts.

  • Establish rapport with wholesaler sales reps and management.

  • Organize monthly reporting to keep track of business.   

  • Think outside the box to add big ideas to the business.  

  • Travel occasionally to other markets for brand activation and fairs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Minimum 3 years experience in sales functions (food) including: retail territory management, key account management, field time, trade marketing, category management and sales strategy.

  • High level of credibility, relationships, and demonstrated ability in customer management.

  • Excellent communication skills, articulate with strong public speaking ability.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills. 

  • Languages: Danish (fluent); English (Advanced)
