The Investor Relations Manager will be the link between TechBBQ and the Nordic and International investor ecosystems. Your day-to-day work will consist of outreach to investors (VCs, CVCs, BAs, LPs), as well as having meetings with these. You will be responsible for TechBBQ’s value proposition for investors, which will include planning activities and special events for this stakeholder group. 


As Investor Relations Manager your tasks will entail:

  • Understanding the needs and motivations of all investor types from Venture Capitalists and Business Angels to Corporate Investors and LPs - and everything in between.

  • Understanding the trends of both the investor landscape and the startup ecosystem.

  • Taking lead on designing and closing investor partnerships, both commercial and non-commercial.

  • Managing investor relationships. Build new connections and nurture existing ones.

  • Designing, planning and executing investor engagement activities at the TechBBQ events.

  • Coordinating and supporting the investors throughout the events.

  • Representing TechBBQ at other events or conferences. Either as an attendee or a speaker.

  • Assisting in curating the investor content for TechBBQ Summit in collaboration with the Program department. 

  • Assisting in marketing for key programs that help engage and build relationships with investors.

What are we looking for: 

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in Account/Client Management.

  • Interest in the Venture Capital landscape and startup environment 

  • 1-3+ years working with Venture Capital / Investment is a plus but not necessary

  • A high willingness to learn

  • A big motivation to be a part of a startup journey in growth
