We are targeting to build Denmarks most innovative Product Development department in Veo. We will be building a huge development team with all necessary capabilities in-house to encourage the needle of innovation and innovation speed, where we will draw use of our local, internal assembly line to get fast from time to market.

Its a complicated product with many different functions, requiring you to catch up fast on how to develop code for different areas. You need to be curious and be up for a steep learning curve.

Responsible for:

• Conceptualizing and generating innovative and meaningful industrial designs. Make them come to life in prototypes and surface models

• Develop advanced 3D models optimized for production feasibility (draft, tooling constraints, etc)

• Develop 2D material (icons, stickers, manuals, etc)

• Develop packaging mechanics & design

• Simulate proficiency & thermal performance

• Make prototypes (in-house and with external partners)

• Test your designs: Drop, salt spray, safety, thermal, etc

• Develop assembly tools and jigs for production

Requirements and skills:

• Fusion 360

• Keyshot

• Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop

• DFM for large productions

• Tooling design knowledge

• Vast material knowledge (To choose optimal materials)

• Experience with advanced heat dissipation designs

The most exciting part of the role is that you will be in charge of both industrial design & mechanical engineering and as both disciplines just recently got in-housed, you will be setting up the foundation for how these 2 disciplines should be done in Veo.

You are therefore preferably a good problem solver with a technical mindset, that works with your team to understand and solve situations together.

You are also empathic, highly motivated and purpose driven in your approach towards amazing products.

These amazing products will be done together with our Electronics & Firmware team, but also external suppliers.

We seek talented people regardless of seniority, but we need you to have 3 years practical experience developing mechanics or a masters degree in a relevant area to this position.
