Who are we?

DANSIC is a non-profit organization that explores the opportunities and challenges of social innovation and entrepreneurship. This year we are working on bringing together the idea of art as a product of recycled materials.

As a volunteer in DANSIC, you will be part of an ambitious group of volunteers from various universities, nationalities and professional backgrounds, all caring about sustainability and social innovation.

The Finance Crew at DANSIC:

The Finance crew applies to funding, manages the finances of DANSIC and drafts the annual financial report, being an essential part of our organization. The Finance Crew's role is to ensure that DANSIC is on the right track and has enough funding for our internal and external activities.

As the Finance Executive in DANSIC, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage the Finance crew, and be responsible, with the other Finance volunteers, of getting enough funding for organizing our annual activity and that DANSIC ends up with a positive result in the end.

We're looking for someone who...

• Is studying/have studied business economics. It is an advantage if you speak Danish and know the Danish laws of accounting

• Can motivate the volunteers of DANSIC and wants to develop their social and professional skills – as well as their own

• Currently is a Bachelor’s / Master’s student or a recent graduate

• Would like to support social innovation, art and sustainability

• Is able to attend the weekly meeting in your crew every Tuesday evening

• Can undertake some ad hoc tasks during the week

• Can be a part of DANSIC from fall 2021 until late spring 2022, when our Annual General Meeting will be held (this is a must!)

  
  

As our Chief Finance Executive, your responsibilities involve (but not limit to):

• Developing a strategy for the Financial Crew together with the board

• Creating fund applications and pitching DANSIC to possible investors

• Participate in DANSIC-led excursions

• Budgeting and accounting of our incomes and expenses
