We are looking for an experienced Product Design Manager to join our Product team that is responsible for customer experience of all software platforms in Veo. The team is working in multiple cross functional teams building the future products for our customers.

Your primary focus will be

• Directly manage a team of 5-6 product designers, supporting them in their personal and professional growth.

• Working with product designers to ensure that we have have a deep understanding of customers needs, and how we can produce excellent user experiences that keeps our customers excited

• Lead who, as a function-specific leader, oversees design and UX for our products

• Collaborate with product, insights and engineering counterparts to craft a data-informed vision for the user experience of our products

• Drive the overall product strategy through-out all product teams

• Connect the dots across products to ensure a holistic user experience

What we expect from you

• You have proven 3-5 years of practical design management experience with designers in a cross functional product team environment

• You are a born leader. You take pride in coaching and growing people to be great designers

• You will provide context, support and coaching, as the team works toward our business objectives — you will inspire, not merely direct

• You are comfortable working closely with product, design, engineering and commercial counterparts to craft a data-informed vision for customer experience

• You are a phenomenal communicator both verbal and in writing

• You have shipped many consumer products over the years, and have a deep understanding of what it takes to build great product experiences

• You have the mentality that design solutions should be even better than what customers could imagine

• You understand the value of getting the job done.

• You are comfortable working iteratively with rapid protoyping, embracing mistakes and getting customer feedback fast.
