Danish Social Innovation Club (DANSIC) is Denmark's largest platform for social innovation. It is a voluntary non-profit organization run by ambitious Danish and international students and recent graduates, which aids and inspires different actors in society, with social innovation methods and interdisciplinary work.

DANSIC is a non-profit organization that explores the opportunities and challenges of social innovation and entrepreneurship. This year DANSIC21 brings its focus on the triad of technology, entrepreneurship and design, with a collaborative project between the Nordics and the African Continent. Portraying the idea of empowering African and Danish youth, DANSIC will be working in cooperation with “Ambitious Africa”, a progressive organization that is currently expanding throughout Scandinavia.

As a volunteer in DANSIC, you will be part of an ambitious group of volunteers from various universities, nationalities, and professional backgrounds, all caring about technology and entrepreneurship. We value creativity, diversity, and peer-to-peer learning. Moreover, we put an emphasis on socializing together over casual pizzas, Friday bars, Christmas lunches, etc.

 As our Finance Controller you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and following up on budgets for our event and expenses;

• Preparing budgets for funding proposals;

• Keeping an overview of all expenses;

• Collecting and documenting receipts;

• Cooperating with the Finance Director and Funding Coordinators;

QUALIFICATIONS

• You are a student  with understanding of accounting and budgeting;

• You are studying accounting, business administration, finance or similar;

• You live in the Greater Copenhagen area;

• You have a desire to work in fundraising and events, and support social innovation;

• You have experience working with Excel and preparing financial statements;

• You have great organizational and interpersonal skills.

  This position is unpaid!

REQUIREMENTS

• Attend the weekly evening meeting in your crew;

• Undertake some ad hoc tasks during the week;

• Attend the monthly social day for all of DANSIC's volunteers;

• Be a part of DANSIC from fall 2020 until late spring 2021, when our Annual General Meeting will be held.
