About the job

As a software engineer at Undo, you will be a part of a team of passionate entrepreneurs, relentlessly grinding to create an insurance experience that is fast, affordable, and hassle free. A team that strives to build high quality software, using the best tools out there.

Situated out of H.C. Ørstedværket in Sydhavn, you’ll be working in a modern and completely renovated space where the entrepreneurial spirit is thriving.

You’ll be joining a squad of 8 highly driven, product focused people in their prime, and get experience working with cutting-edge technology. We work together across disciplines and function as one group with a shared goal. We come up with all our initiatives ourselves internally in the squad, we brainstorm, evaluate and prioritise the ideas that we believe will have the highest impact and cost/benefit ratio 🧠

You will...

• create engaging new experiences that help people understand and use their insurance

• evolve the application architecture to make the codebase more flexible, durable, and testable. All in Kotlin using ReactiveX

• actively participate throughout the whole development process, from idea to execution

• closely cooperate with the designers and project managers

• review memes

You have...

• several years of experience developing modern apps for the Android platform

• a strong theoretical foundation from studying computer science, engineering or similar

• experience with a variety of design patterns and workflows

• a profound passion for Android development, and are always up-to-date with cutting-edge libraries and frameworks

• a detail oriented, pixel-perfect working-style

• an interest in UX and usability

• Nice-to-have: experience with RxKotlin, GraphQL, Room, Koin or similar modern technologies

• have Kotlin experience → we love and speak Kotlin, so should you

• know your way around the Android SDK → few is an expert, but you should have a broad experience and know how solve a multitude of challenges

• have genuine curiosity → we are constantly thinking how we can improve our code, and expect you share that same mindset

• have passion for products → we believe that the best products ultimately win and we expect that you are aligned on that
