Unfortunately, current methods for measuring VO₂max are often complex, time-consuming, and require a high-intensity physical effort (e.g., on a treadmill), which makes them inaccessible to many, especially the elderly, those with mobility issues, or patients recovering from illness. This widespread problem affects millions of people globally who could benefit from a simple, accurate, and non-invasive way to assess their fitness levels. We have developed the Seismofit® System, an award-winning medical device that revolutionizes CRF measurement. Our solution uses advanced seismocardiography—a technology that records the micro-vibrations of the chest caused by heartbeats—in combination with a sophisticated AI algorithm. In under three minutes, our system provides a highly accurate estimate of VO₂max without the need for any physical exercise. This fast, simple, and non-invasive process makes it possible for healthcare and wellness providers to easily integrate CRF assessments into routine check-ups, helping them provide more personalized care and better disease prevention strategies. The spark for VentriJect was ignited by a clear unmet need in the healthcare industry. We recognized that while VO₂max is a vital health metric, its assesment was limited to specialized settings due to the demanding nature of existing tests. This created a barrier to widespread adoption, preventing countless individuals from understanding and improving their cardiorespiratory health. Our team was motivated to bridge this gap by creating a technology that could democratize access to this critical health data. Introduction to Christopher (CCO): Prior to co-founding LikeMinded, Christopher spent more than two years working in investment banking at Citi in London, where he worked with Private Equity, Growth Equity and Venture Capital clients, and got extensive exposure to M&A transactions totalling more than €5bn across various sectors. Prior to this he worked as a VC analyst for the largest Danish VC fund, and was part of the sales team at Saxo Bank. Christopher has a BSc in International Business from CBS, and also studied at Columbia Business School. Currently he is taking a pilot license, and enjoys surfing, playing and watching football, and likes to travel with his girlfriend. Introduction to Lars (CTO): Lars is a 2nd time founder with over 15 years of experience as CTO, and successfully exited from his previous venture. He has a very strong track record as a hands-on full-stack developer, with has a proven ability to build excellent teams.
