We just closed a Angel round and received Innovation Norway's phase 2 grant, targeting break-even and a seed round in Q2 2025. Nordic Bio-Graphite aims to transform industries toward a net-zero future by supplying CO2 negative graphite. Graphite is the largest component in EV batteries and a critical material for green steel production. However, traditional production methods emit up to 20 kg of CO2 per kg of graphite and consumes significant energy. Leveraging two patent-pending innovations developed by leading materials scientists at KTH Sweden, we have developed the first solution to produce fossil-free graphite from bio-based materials at scale. This unique process enables us to produce green graphite at a cost close to fossil based graphite, while significantly reducing emissions and boosting energy efficiency. Within four years, NBG aims to prevent over 150,000 tonss of CO2 emissions annually.
