Our story ChromaWay is a blockchain technology company. Since 2014, we have been developing and refining industry-defining blockchain technology platforms. Blockchain pioneers We created the first protocol for issuing tokens on the Bitcoin network. We used it to issue fiat currency together with LHV bank in 2014, and then to crowdfund startups on the Funderbeam platform. We designed a blockchain agnostic client-side validated smart contracting platform that put privacy first before privacy became a hot topic in blockchain. We have used it to support internal leasing in large organisations, issue financial instruments, and to allow government agencies to issue licenses digitally. In 2018 we used it to demo a live property sale together with the Swedish Land Registry. Technology by us We are the creators of relational blockchain, a new blockchain architecture which combines the power and flexibility of a relational database and the fault tolerant decentralised security of a blockchain. We built Postchain, a private blockchain or consortium database using the relational blockchain architecture. Postchain has registered property on three continents, accelerated the growth of green finance, and formed the basis for a proposed national e-currency. The Product Eyecheck System is a modular SaaS platform that effectively enables sharing of clinical imaging, referrals, and other clinical correspondence instantly and securely between healthcare professionals, such as optometrists, eye doctors, and hospitals. By digitizing the patient journey we enable quicker treatments and fewer patient queues as we can process more patients with uncomplicated diagnoses more effectively. The Problem The prevalence of the most common retinal diseases, age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic retinopathy (DR), is rising in industrialized countries. In addition to demographic changes, this trend is also partly driven by growing numbers of patients with diabetes. This is increasing the workload in hospital ophthalmic units, and public ophthalmologists leading to waiting times of up to 12 months in Norway. This in turn increases the risk for serious eye damage in the general population at risk. The Solution Eyecheck System is a modular SaaS platform that shares clinical imaging, referrals, and other clinical correspondence securely and instantly between healthcare professionals. This in turn enables decentralized controls and diagnosis of patients even in rural areas with sub-optimal eye specialist coverage. Decentralized controls and screenings are made possible due to the vast amount of geographically spread retina imaging devices in over 600 optometrist locations throughout Norway alone. In addition to that, there is a wide-ranging discrepancy of competence levels across the profession of optometrists, where such a service would benefit both the patients and the optometrists. The reason why We are passionate about Eyecare and want to avoid blindness and other serious eye complications in Europe by digitizing the patient journey and creating a modern, more sustainable way to help patients get better. Our founder is an ophthalmologist (eye doctor) in Akershus and embarked on this journey due to his own experience when meeting patients that waited unnecessarily long on their appointment and ultimately an uncomplicated diagnosis.

It takes a frustrating amount of work, and inaccuracies are almost unavoidable – plus hard to catch. PinMeTo was born in 2013, when three friends – one salesman, two developers – set up shop in a startup incubator in Malmö, Sweden. After years of iterations and improvements, PinMeTo now has about 100 employees in 6 offices, and we’re trusted by enterprise companies like H&M, 7-Eleven, and Hertz. Think of PinMeTo as a really efficient messenger: you add or update location data in PinMeTo, and that data is shared with all of your locations and the networks they’re listed on.

Zenniz builds the future of tennis with an innovative smart court. The service and on-court device helps players and coaches with automatic line calls, stats, video, and drills. Our team has a mix of experience from technology (Google and Facebook) and tennis (Jarkko Nieminen is our tennis advisor). We’re securely funded by some of the best-known angel investors and VC's in Finland. The Zenniz product is currently in beta testing in Tali, Helsinki. The tracking of the system has already been validated in the Finnish Tennis League. Our next challenge is to scale Zenniz for the global market.
