Caudex

Caudex is developing an app that will solve the problem with second hand textbooks not being forwarded or sold. Buying second hand textbooks for your next subject should be as easy as just searching for the subject-code or sending a message to students that have previously taken the subject. Solving this problem will contribute to the circular economy in addition it will also result in reducing our carbon footprint as we’re using more second hand material. We’ll mainly focus on existing students, but our platform will also be hugely resourceful for pre- and post students.

GenNarrate

GenNarrate is a new Danish startup, founded with the goal of expanding the emotional range and intensity of player experiences. This goal is achieved by developing the radical innovation GenNarrator – a research-based AI that generates fully interactive stories. Together we will create a company culture that is personally rewarding and motivating. Both by giving you freedom to develop your skills within your areas of expertise, as well as bringing an informal and positive tone to the job. The design of GenNarrator has matured over several years and 3 R&D projects at Aalborg University, demonstrating Proof-of-Concept and Proof-of-Technology. Since 2021 two tech-demos funded by Innovationsfonden has been developed, showcasing the GenNarrator Emotional and Social AI. A demo is being finished in collaboration with an established game studio, for the purpose of securing VC funding. There are plenty successful software tools in the media entertainment industry, used for auto-generating the spatial dimension of fictional worlds. GenNarrator represents a breakthrough in automated content generation, by generating the narrative dimension of these worlds. This provides a solution to key challenges facing the dominant business models of the video game industry today. We will make the most of this opportunity and are in continued dialogue with experienced investors and publishers.

LUVE Wellness Space is developing an online platform that helps wellness entrepreneurs and -professionals to find venues to share their work. The nature of wellness industry is shifting more towards self employed health and wellness practitioners such as yoga & meditation teachers, personal trainers, life coaches, health therapists ect. These practitioners are working independently and they are mainly sharing their work remotely. Finding a perfect venue is hard and thats why we are developing a platform that brings inspiring venues to right people. At the same time theres a lot of ununtilised venues out there that could be used in wellness purposes. LUVE Wellness Space helps to increase the utilisation rate of these properties so that the owners can make more money. Right now if you are an entrepreneur looking for a place you need to search on Google. Google will suggest you different venues such as yoga or fitness studios. Then you have to email those studios and the whole process takes a lot of time for both sides. Through our service we provide venue owners a platform where they can easily list their venue and keep their calendar and prices up to date. For people looking for a venue we offer a handy filtering system so that they can find a venue that suits exactly to their needs. Theres a lot of unused potential among wellness entrepreneurs as well as wellness venues. LUVE Wellness Space helps both sides to utilise that potential more effectively. This will result more work for entrepreneurs, more diverse wellness services for people and more profit for venue owners. Both founders Laura and Elisa have been working in wellness industry for many years. The core reason for establishing LUVE Wellness Space was the deep passion to contribute to the well-being of society and bring more diversity into wellness industry. Laura: Having worked in the industry for many years and knowing a lot of amazing wellness professionals internationally made me think of how could all these important skills be brought to people. How could they deliver their work more freely? I found my way and started to rent other peoples studios and venues for my work. I soon noticed how difficult the process was for both sides. I started to talk with the venue owners and spotted a clear need for this service." Elisa: I was working for a big fitness centre chain and I always felt that I was not able to share my true unique gifts with people because the whole process was highly regulated and scripted. A menstrual cup is a very delicate sanitary protection for women. A single cup is reused for 5 years and replaces thousands of sanitary napkins / tampons. It gives women better health, finances, and makes a big difference to the environment. Not to mention the enormous freedom a menstrual cup gives you for 12 hours in comparison to a tampon that can sit for 5 hours. A very important part of our work is to help girls in developing countries stay in school. Many people do not know that girls are forced to stay at home because of the lack of safe menstrual protection around the world, and our work in that area is extremely important. So far, we have ensured that over 10,000 girls do not stay at home because of something as natural as menses. We strive to do good and at the same time do good business. For quality and product safety reasons we have our manufacturing in Sweden, which gives us excellent control of the whole process, and still have a good profit margin.

Inspicasa

The digital service Inspicasa offers several enhancements to the clarification process all property buyers are going through: Firstly: Inspicasa decodes the buyer’s emotional profile and merges the emo-profile with the factual wishes into a complete search profile. The algorithms search all real estate agents sites for properties that match the profile and present the choices to the buyer. Secondly, Inspicasa presents different national or geotagged shops and service-suppliers, offering relevant products to the property buyer. For example; kitchens, furniture, internet, security systems, DIY, garden centers, supermarkets, etc. A ''Yes'' to a property equals ''Yes'' to new suppliers. The business model consists of two cash flow streams: Lead generation to suppliers with individualized focus and vouchers to support retailers and campaigns. 40% of the population that is looking for houses, flats, summerhouses, etc is discontented with the present solutions to browse the real estate market. At the same time, ⅔ of the population looking for a new property is not able to find the matching property. Why? Because the fundamental emo-parameters that control the decision-making is not addressed presently by real estate agents or other market-actors neither digitally nor through classic communication. According to Professor Richard Thaler, Noble Prize winner in Economy in 2017, and Daniel Kahneman and Vernon Smith, Noble Prize winner in Economy in 2002, is every decision based on the emotional perception of your "reality landscape". Regardless of what kind of decision we are talking about. Market research shows that 98% of real estate buyers agree. This opportunity is why we created Inspicasa. Based on algorithms and machine learning the solution optimizes and in a few seconds narrows the search to a few dream homes, much faster than scrolling through hundreds of presentations. Leads and voucher messages are sent to participating suppliers and shops instantly enabling them to act. But what if the decision process has to include 3-4-5 persons? Answer: Inspicasa presents an option, where the buyer merges her or his emotional preferences with for example family members and creates a group profile. The property search presents actual suggestions from top to low match. The idea was created as a result of several discussions about the real estate market, decision-making process, emotional preference, and frustration about the (lack of) exciting services. Jess and Grane have been involved in business development, innovation, and start-ups in many different set-ups. We have a passion for developing, disrupting, and creating concepts, but despite that, it is the first time we have created a project together after knowing each other for more than 10 years. Birgitte was a natural part of the project from day one, Birgitte and Jess are married and Birgitte’s competence as an auth. psychologist was extremely important for the emotional understanding and creating a fundamental part of the solution.
