However, the availability of public charging points is not growing at the same speed. According to IEA, 87% of global EV charge points are installed in private locations and are not accessible to the public. This gives rise to the problem of fewer charging options for an increasing number of EVs with no options for private chargers to be active players in the domain of electric mobility.
