Founded early summer 2020, acamp.com is a two-sided marketplace connecting RV Sites and private landowners with campers. We are the first Startup in Europe that let local landowner and small business tap into the huge, analog, and underserved market of RV sites. By digitalizing the market we create totally new opportunities for the entire industry. We are currently a small team of 16 very talented colleagues, diverse with 4 different nationalities and backgrounds from Apple, Spotify, and MIT students. All our work is in English, and majority of the team work from our HQ in Stockholm, but a few colleagues work remotely from other places in Sweden, Barcelona, US and the Philippines. We believe that empowering our employees makes our company stronger, and we therefore do a lot to make sure our team has the freedom they need to be and do the best they can. As we are a small team, where everything goes really fast in the startup environment, we need people to be independent and equipped to do what is needed. We therefore provide an overall centralised direction, but everyone here has a lot of autonomy and ownership over their own work. We work with flexible hours, where each team member can choose to work from home when they want, or from our pet friendly office in the heart of Stockholm close to "Sveavägen". We want our team members to be passionate about the value we create, and therefore do a lot to promote the nature environment, we do team events at our hosts, and at our office we have a rooftop garden with barbecue that we often make use of. IDUN audio is a Copenhagen-based startup developing spatial audio software for headphones, making them sound 3-dimensional, just like in real life. As humans we can naturally hear where sound is coming from, and how far away things are. But when listening with headphones we cannot use these abilities since all the sound is inside our heads. This is a very unnatural experience, making us tired at the end of the day. We are radically changing this with our breakthrough spatial audio technology using head tracking. With IDUNs technology running in the headphone, listening with headphones becomes as natural as in everyday situations.

CosmEthics educates consumers about cosmetic ingredient safety, and suggests healthy alternative products by referencing medical research data. Consumers have very few methods to determine if a product is safe. The CosmEthics app allows users to scan the product’s bar code, and cross-references it with undesirable ingredients or allergens. Thus users can quickly assess the product’s health hazards, with a toxicity screening of INCI ingredients.

There are too many lonely elderly people and it is too difficult to learn Danish as a foreigner.We solve these two problems by arranging for foreigners, learning Danish, to visit elderly Danes. The foreigner comes to the home of the Dane once a week, They learn Danish by having a normal conversation with the elderly.Municipalities pay us for bettering their activation of the elderly and their integration of foreigners. Currently I, Andreas, is the only one working at Elderlearn. I am however sitting in offices with other start-ups with whom I always have lunch with. I find lunch to be a crucial part of the day and always take at least half an hour free to eat and talk with the others in the office.I love playing board games, eating good food and meeting new people. If you join the team you will be a big part of shaping the office culture, and I will look very much forward to finding my first colleague.Since I am moving to another start-up office soon, the below images show some of the foreigners and elderly I have introduced to each other.
