Digital Edge

At Digital Edge, we help established companies innovate. We do this by developing custom solutions with focus on AI and machine learning. It's easy to come up with new, cool products that can make your life easier if you're a digital native. Especially here at The Hub you can find many examples of this. If you're an established company however, with tech stacks from the past decades and little to no clue what AI brings to the table, you may need some help to get started. That's why we package the startup skillset, mindset and workflow in a format that works for enterprises. We make state-of-the-art digital technology as fast and easy to use for large organizations as it is for startups. Digital Edge was founded four years ago in Stockholm by computer science and machine learning graduates from KTH and an initiator with over three decades of experience at McKinsey. We have since expanded and are now a team of nine full time developers with an office in Nybrogatan, Stockholm. We want to double our workforce in 2021.

BioLean

At BioLean we build advanced prediction and visualization solutions that are tailored for biotech applications. Our mission is to provide clients with new knowledge and deep insights on the development of critical operational tasks, which lead to improved operations of pilot and production assets, increased productivity and reduced risks. Our solutions provide data-driven decision support made in real-time and are based on state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and modern IT-architectures, which we build in a dynamic and open-minded team that consists of diverse process experts and machine learning experts.

Whylde Sportswear

THE BRAND Whylde is developing edgy and comfortable athleisure and sportswear for women who want to look good and feel good, with a focus on flattering designs and a memorable orange line. The brand focuses on premium athleisure and sportswear that stands out in the crowd. WHAT? Our vision is to be an inspiring and motivating sportswear brand for women, that does not compromise with either style nor comfort. We aspire to provide women with confidence and motivation in order to achieve their goals and to nourish a healthier and more active lifestyle. We want you to be able to workout in sportswear that feels comfortable, looks good and make you feel good. These items have been tested, in different environments, climbing, running, gym, yoga - just to make sure that it suits you and your heart beating activities perfectly. HOW? Dedicated endless days and nights - designing and researching cool materials for this brand - what should be the statement piece? We made the Scuba Bomber Jacket. A jacket that feels like scuba material but softer and lighter. We are designing chic and edgy sportswear- why be like everyone else when you can be Whylde? Our marketplace is eCommerce B2C. WHY? We got tired of looking after the perfect fit on tights and tank tops - endlessly searching the shelves in different sportswear stores. What fired our spark? We are deeply motivated by working out - it provides so many health benefits for your mind, body and soul. That is why we created whylde - a collection of edgy and chic athleisure and sportswear for women, to feel confident whatever they are about to do.

uBoddy

uBoddy is a B2C platform for last-minute bookings within the health, beauty, and fitness segment. A Simple booking system that fills unbooked treatments for up to half the price. We have found that 1 out of 3 available appointments remains unbooked every day, indicating a significant loss of monthly revenue for the clinics. uBoddy is a solution that provides consumers the best possible treatments at a reasonable price, while also maximizing the capacity for the providers. Our user-friendly platform allows consumers to book last-minute treatments for up to 50% off through just a few swipes.

ABEA Group

Building health and wellness brands in Scandinavia by distributing innovative products from existing companies. ABEA Group partners up with international companies and sells their products in Scandinavia. We want to make health a bigger priority in peoples lives and if more businesses focuses on the wellbeing of their customers, we are contributing. Our customers are gyms, spas, clinics, sport teams, health centers and more.

Logary Analytics

Measuring marketing effectiveness is hard. Campaigns are reported on different KPIs because they target users in different stages of the consumer journey or they lack measurability. For a marketing lead, responsible for both internal and external specialists, understanding the returns on marketing investments is a nightmare. We solve this problem through data science models that generate continuous recommendations for improved performance. Our model can calculate the returns of marketing investments across different channels and campaigns, and even across offline and online, by learning from millions of rows of marketing data.

TJAEK

Defects in the construction work in Denmark adds up to 8 billion dkk annually. The demand for quality assurance in the construction industry is rapidly growing, but for many building contractors Quality Assurance is a time-consuming and tedious task done manually with an ineffective workflow. With TJAEK even the smallest contractors can meet the highest quality assurance requirements - totally uncomplicated. By working closely together with contractors and entrepreneurs we have made a platform that's tailored to the needs of construction companies - making it hassle free for every contractor to execute sufficient quality assurance. This results in time saved and better control quality. And less construction defects means less ressources wasted - helping the construction industry lower it's environmental impact. TJAEK participated in Accelerace's Beyond Beta co-hort 2 and is now scaling.

RedLocker AB

RedLocker was founded in 2018 by Clara Lidman and Liza Eriksson. Today the innovative machines provide free sanitary products in schools, workplaces and other public restrooms. All products are developed and produced in Sweden. Together with an experienced team we work to make menstrual care products available in all places outside the home.

Charlie

With Charlie, we are introducing a completely new way of buying houses in Sweden. In today's market, buying a house if hard. With high home prices, stagnant wages, and on top of that strict mortgage approvals. We are developing a completely new rent-to-own offering which means that our customers find their dream house, and we buy it for them. The customers will then rent the home from us while saving to their down payment. When they are ready, they will buy the house from us. We're on a mission to make the housing market more transparent and available for everyone. We are a Stockholm based start-up and a part of Stockholm School of Economics - SSE business lab. Copenhagen Trackers ApS

At Copenhagen Trackers we develop affordable GPS trackers for consumers and businesses. We help regular people keep track of their bikes, cars, boats, Soundbokses, and many other things and we allow businesses to keep track of their valuable assets. We were founded in 2016 and launched our first product line in 2018. Today, we have sold more than 45,000 devices to +28,000 users, with an ambition to cross 1,000,000 devices sold by 2025.

Our goal is to become the go-to-place for people in need of electrical services by providing the easiest and safest way to get the job done. With SpotOn you order online, get a fixed price instantly and the job done by handpicked pros at a time that suits you. We're an in-house startup backed by one of Norway’s fastest growing companies; Elektroimportøren, a wholesaler of electrical equipment who disrupted their industry by selling directly to end consumers both online and in over 20 retail stores across Norway. Working as a startup and building on our parent company’s strengths and infrastructure has enabled us to scale fast and make our service available to over 70% of Norwegian households. The Problem Our research show that people feel stress just thinking about hiring an electrician and that many struggle to even get started. The main reason being that they don’t know who to contact and what it will cost them to get the job done. But they are also worried because of stories they hear of poor results or misleading prices leading to surprises when the invoice arrives. As a consequence they’ll ask friends or family for recommendations to avoid making the wrong choice. Lack of trust and clarity around pricing creates uncertainty and often leads people to postpone contacting an electrician until absolutely necessary. They learn to live with suboptimal solutions because getting the job done requires too much effort. And when they finally decided to hire an electrician they often experience the person not arriving at the agreed time, and without the necessary equipment to get the job done. The frustration reaches its boiling point when they then have to pay for the extra time needed to drive and pick up the equipment. Our Solution We have digitized the whole process of hiring an electrician, creating a seamless journey from need to end result and a superior booking experience that puts the customer in the driving seat. 01 Instant Fixed Price We’ve built a job-configurator with an inbuilt price calculator making it possible for customers to get a fixed price instantly by answering a few simple questions. This way our customers get’s a price in advance and no surprises when it’s time to pay. 02 Free Video Inspection In addition to our simple job-configurator our customers can book a free video inspection the next day. We’ve hired a team of electricians and built a digital inspection tool making it possible to create and send offers with a fixed price within 24 hours. 03 Handpicked Pros We’ve handpicked pros from Elektroimportøren’s already established network of contractors across the country. This way our customers don’t need to spend time finding a trustworthy electrician and can feel safe knowing the job will be done by qualified professionals. 04 When it Suits You We’ve built a scheduling system from scratch that allows our customers to choose when they want the job done. They simply pick a time and date in our digital calendar and the job is automatically delegated to one of our electricians in the area. 05 Efficient installation We’ve utilised the retail stores across the country to streamline logistics and make installations efficient. We pack and send the electrical equipment in advance so the electricians have all they need, removing unnecessary time spent driving and picking up equipment. 06 Industry-leading Guaranty All our customer are given the opportunity to evaluate their experience after the job is done. If the result is not as promised we fix it free of cost.
