Alvar Pet

Alvar Pet is a Helsinki-based startup on a mission to minimise the carbon pawprint. Dog ownership is rapidly growing – this year, there are more puppies born in Finland than babies. Dogs have become our family members, and we are ready to invest in them: the money spent in pets has more than doubled within the last decade. We worry about where the pet industry is heading. Dogs are pampered with more and more stuff, and fed with meatier food than necessary. Opulence doesn’t make a dog any happier, and the overconsumption happens at the expense of the environment. Pups bring so much joy to our everyday. That’s why owning a dog should not be a choice against the climate – and that’s why we founded Alvar. We founded Alvar to joint together the growing popularity of pets and the growing popularity of eco-aware lifestyles. We do it by offering (easy for customers, need-based for dogs, impactful for environment) sustainable solutions to conscious pup owners.

Mindcare

50% of the population will encounter mental illness, but 65% leave treatment without results. We're here to change that. Mindcare develops Konfidens – the worlds first holistic mental healthcare platform designed to improve the effectiveness of psychological treatment. Our SaaS platform for psychologists combines the basic tools needed to administer a private practice, with novel research-based treatment instruments. Right now we are working on a module for psychometric symptom analysis based on clinical research, an algorithm matching patient and therapist based on empirical treatment data and a suite of tools to aid the therapists professional development. volant - minimalistic handmade diffusers and organic essential oils

Volant was founded in Norway by Tobias Nervik and Daniel Hoftun. They shared a flat in Oslo and wanted to buy an aroma diffuser to start using essential oils after Tobias heard about it on the Tim Ferriss show. Daniel had just refurbished the apartment and wanted a nice-looking diffuser that fit well with the interior decor. They were unable to find one. That is why they created volant: to offer a minimalistic essential oil diffuser that goes with any interior. The volant diffuser was an instant hit in Norway and launched in 15 countries within the first year. The volant diffuser is Scandinavian in design and craftsmanship and is the flagship product of volant. It infuses our customers' spaces with fresh aromas and helps them feel relaxed, energetic or focused depending on their needs.

Hero Gaming was founded in 2013 by Georg Westin, who was at the forefront of offering gamified casinos – a unique experience which players had not previously seen. Casino Heroes was launched in 2014 with an initial focus on Scandinavian countries. Our multi-brand strategy grew to include two new brands in 2018 with Speedy Casino and Speedy Bet, 2019 saw the addition of Simple Bet and our latest brand Boom Casino was launched in February 2020. Biller

Biller - The next step in business payments We are an AI-powered “Buy Now, Pay Later” payment method that allows business buyers to order online and pay directly on invoice while performing real-time credit and fraud checks and a fully automated debtor management service. Thereby we reduce the operational burden and risk for the business seller while offering speed, flexibility and convenience for the business buyer e.g. by offering the buyer flexible payment terms. Biller may be brand new, but the brains behind it have been in the game for a long time. Our three founders earned their stripes at some of the biggest names in fintech. Now, they’re combining their expertise and energy to do something refreshingly new, and solve an age-old problem at the same time. We aim to be active in every EU country by 2024. That’s huge growth, but certainly within our reach. Shortly after we started Biller, a whole bunch of capital investors started beating down our door to get in. In the end, we partnered with Banking Circle, because they clearly see Biller’s potential to solve a real market challenge. We need talented people with the right skills to turn that potential into reality.

We are a venture studio and we are a family of impact funds. ParkShare is a sharing economy platform for parking spaces, where private people as well as companies, can rent out their parking spaces when they don’t need it and thereby earn an extra income. The parking spaces are easily accessible for drivers, who need parking . The drivers can book a parking space in advance or in the moment, when needed . With ParkShare, drivers no longer have to waste time, CO2 or get annoyed because of parking. With ParkShare parking will no longer be a problem! We match the two sides, by utilizing the parking spaces which are already there and create a win-win situation. KSTING is digital booking platform for fashion professionals, where fashion clients can find and hire models, photographers, hair & makeup artists and stylists to staff their productions. KSTING offers advanced hiring tools, handles all the invoicing and gives 24/7 support via its team of experienced bookers. All members of the KSTING community are carefully selected professionals.   KSTING is a the brainchild of Mathias Bergh, a Swedish top model with over 10 years of experience working among some of the biggest fashion brands. Mathias started to question the way the modelling world operates, where the agencies set the rules, and where high fees do not necessarily benefit the models or the clients. By launching KSTING, we are increasing the fashion professionals’ income, lowering the clients’ costs, and improve fairness, transparency and efficiency in the industry.

Coachway ApS

We spent 6+ years working side by side with 150+ online fitness coaches. Managed their businesses, saw their frustrations up close, and watched them waste half their day on admin that had nothing to do with actual coaching. So we built the platform we always wished existed. Coachway is an all-in-one platform for online fitness coaches - workouts, meal plans, messaging, check-ins, payments, automations, and a branded client app. One login. No chaos.
