Tjena

Let's get real for a minute: Networking can be a brutal, soul-sucking experience. You know the drill — you show up, shuffle through a stack of business cards, and try to make small talk that goes nowhere. Hours later, you're left wondering why you even bothered. The brutal truth? Most networking feels about as engaging as a limp handshake. The Fix? Meet Tjena. Forget the lifeless corporate mixers. We pair your sales teams and founders with someone who truly understands the art of connection — a Wing Person. Imagine this: a guide who navigates the chaos of crowded conference halls and awkward meet-ups with you. Our Wing People are not just there to keep you company; they’re your strategic partners in the field. They help pinpoint the right people you need to talk to, cutting through the noise and making every minute count - Human Connection as a Service. And that’s not all. We also offer workshops that go beyond the stale “networking tips” everyone's tired of hearing. We teach you how to use your unique traits to stand out in a sea of suits and actually connect in ways that matter. Why Tjena? If you're nodding along, it's because you recognise these truths: - You're craving real, meaningful connections, not just adding to your pile of business cards. - You want an expert in your corner who can facilitate introductions that lead to genuine business opportunities — not just another "nice to meet you." - You're tired of your team feeling out of place at networking events. It's time they actually enjoyed the process. - You're ready for your team to be recognised for their unique strengths, not lost in the crowd. If this strikes a chord, it’s time to give Tjena a try. We’re ready to help you ditch the old, ineffective networking routines and start creating valuable relationships that truly contribute to your bottom line. Ready to change the game? Gate2Horizon

Gate2Horizon is a new company, which leverages the experience of its employees in the domain of so-called "exploitation of project results" in large EU-funded Research & Innovation projects (under the Horizon Europe - Pillar II funding programme). We work across diverse sectors such as Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, Mining, Aquaculture, and Health Policy. As part of the consortium in the EU projects, we assist project partners in the exploitation of their project results with a hands-on approach and tools to make sure the results coming out of the project are "exploited" at the end of the project's lifetime, that is "made us of to tackle societal problems, in policymaking or for commercial purposes". In the initial phase, we identify and characterize results and their potential owners. We thereafter monitor them and select the ones with the most potential, which we nurture throughout the project lifetime with the help of our tools and services. We do it through: - conducting workshops on different commercial and entrepreneurial topics - holding individual coaching sessions with project partners - using credible methodologies such as the Value Proposition, Business Model Canvas, EC's Innovation Radar In a nutshell, we exploit the project results and help them on their journey towards market-ready and standalone businesses or we connect them to partners that can help with further research and development toward market readiness.

Hygeia Sense

Hygeia Sense develops next-generation biosecurity platform that revolutionises virus detection and response. We allow governments to make rapid decisions based on actual virus outbreak data. WHAT ARE WE DOING? We are creating a revolutionary device for detecting airborne viruses from the air and a platform allowing for visualisations and real time notifications about outbreaks. We create a much cheaper and faster detection to not let the COVID-19 events happen again. We decrease the time of outbreak detection >30 times and detection price >10 times. WHY ARE WE DOING IT? In recent years there have been a rapid advancement in SynBio that outpaces the regulatory and monitoring frameworks. This leads to inability of implementation of clear safety rules for virus research and national security which in turn poses a large threat of uncontrolled and/or accidental misuse of pathogens. We lack of necessary tools to predict and manage virus outbreaks and information.

Hidayah

Foodture

Foodture is an innovative food company developing plant-based, fermented products using locally sourced ingredients. Developing new plant-based products that consumers love, and that are competitive with industrially-produced meat, is a key element of the transition towards a green economy and a regenerative way of life. Foodture’s product is a version of tempeh made from locally-sourced legumes which are fermented and then prepared as blocks, cubes, patties or in a shredded version. The product is used currently mainly in food service applications, but there are many other possibilities. Several product development efforts are ongoing, including collaborations with Aarstiderne and Noma. There is a real sense of momentum in the category, with a high pace of innovation and competition. The environmental footprint of tempeh is very low compared to red and white meat, but also compared to most other meat alternatives on the market today.

CurledDesign

CurledDesign helps Start-ups and small businesses design and develop physical products that combine sustainability with great design. I'm on a mission to enable companies to innovate more and develop better products with a shorter timeline. Starting with the basics of design thinking and modern design methods, I help companies add more value through their products. My 3 step design process ensures that companies achieve maximum value from the process and add value to their customers. The first phase is an insight phase focusing on getting to know the users, ensuring that the development is based on real-life problems and reducing the number of assumptions the project is based on. The second phase is designing the product and exploring multiple design and concept ideas to ensure the chosen design makes the most significant impact. The third phase is detailing the product for manufacturing, ensuring that IP rights are assured, that it's possible to manufacture the product and that the product is made with sustainability in mind. In the third phase, I help communicate with suppliers to ensure the quality of the final product.

Spher.app

Spher emerged from a shared understanding of the challenges faced by underserved individuals within our society. The co-founders, driven by personal experiences, recognized the struggles encountered by those who do not conform to societal norms. One co-founder, navigating the complexities of not fitting the typical image associated with his country, joined forces with a woman who had endured constant fear and discomfort due to societal expectations. The pivotal moment that sparked the creation of Spher occurred when the male co-founder witnessed a female friend fall victim to an attack. This tragic incident served as a wake-up call, compelling him to recognize the urgent need for a united front among underserved populations to enhance collective safety. The decision was made to concentrate efforts on supporting women, who often find themselves vulnerable during commutes, nightlife activities, and even online interactions. Spher aims to address the safety concerns faced by women through the development of a specialized app. This platform facilitates a community-driven approach, enabling women to support one another in staying safe during their journeys home and while navigating the digital realm. By fostering collaboration and mutual assistance, Spher strives to empower underserved communities and create a safer environment for everyone, starting with women who deserve the right to move freely without fear.
