KTH Innovation

Ventura Brands

Ventura Brands Oy is a Finnish ecommerce company founded in 2019. We’ve built several global consumer brands, served over 200,000 customers worldwide, and sell our products on Amazon and our own Shopify store (DTC). Right now, we’re focused on scaling our fastest-growing brand, Silvery®, in the U.S. market. Silvery is a premium bedding brand using patent-pending silver-infused technology that helps hot sleepers stay cool, clean, and comfortable. The brand is growing rapidly and gaining international attention. In 2025, we are on track to double our revenue compared to last year, and we’re now strengthening our team to support this growth.

Doubble

Something is wrong with how we meet new people. Meeting new people is supposed to be exciting, spontaneous and fun. Yet, datings apps have turned it into a monotonous routine. All dating apps claim to be different, but they are essentially all a speed dating game played in solo mode with a pool of strangers. It’s a game of swipe, match and “hey, what’s up” chats that rarely lead anywhere. Sometimes you miraculously get past the boring smalltalk, dodge the ghosting and actually meet! But more often than not, the date you “won” feels like a boring coffee interview. We deserve better than that. That’s why we are creating a different experience of meeting new people. What if instead of playing this speed dating game by yourself, you are playing together with your friends. Instead of the coffee date interview, it’s more like going to a spontaneous party with your close friends and bumping into a crush. Magma Math / Matteappen (Radish AB)

Magma (Matteappen in Sweden) is a startup that has quickly grown to become the leading platform for data-driven math education. By leveraging handwritten solutions in a digital format, Magma allows teachers to place emphasis on creativity in math, while gaining key insights on student progression. This creates a more engaging, inclusive and pedagogical math class for all students. Math remains the largest challenge for schools, where one in five students in year 8 are low performers. Math is one of the core pillars on which careers are built, and we believe that K-12 math represents one of the largest opportunities at improving educational outcomes and career prospects for children and young adults. Originally founded in Stockholm, Sweden, Magma is now growing rapidly in the US. We are an ambitious team on a meaningful mission of improving math education for millions of children.

LEIA Health

LEIA Health is a VC funded startup based in Stockholm on a mission to support the next 1B parents by digitizing the parental journey offering AI-powered support at a time when parents need it the most. LEIA has been named One of Europes’ hottest startups by both Sifted, Business Insider and Wired. Our app offers new parents an AI-enabled and personalized journey into parenthood with medically validated information, rehabilitation programs, and AI-driven insights about their mental and physical health. Our unique health screenings enable us to identify risks such as depression at a much earlier stage guiding them to the relevant health care provider driving preventive measures and positive health outcomes. The B2B offering consists of a parental leave companion app focusing on optimizing the employees health before, during and after parental leave. While also streamlining and personalizing the planning and communication process between employee and line manager to decrease sick leave and churn.

Every year 6 billion SEK of personal accident insurance compensation go unclaimed in Sweden! Why so? One of the main reasons is that it is extremely difficult to go through the claims process, which requires both time, knowledge and a lot of patience. With Insurello, there is no need to understand insurance specific language, have all the time in the world or have a certain background. We want to help all people claim their accident insurances money instantly online and change the insurance landscape for the better. WHAT HAVE WE ACCOMPLISHED? As of now, we're helping more than 80 000+ people claim their insurances through our platform, and the user count is growing by the hour. We were awarded the Start-up of the Year 2017 award by Business Challenge, and top-100 InsurTech start-ups in the world by Fintech Global. Since 2018, we have raised more than 100 M SEK from leading Venture Capitalist firms and trusted investors who've brought in not just money but credibility, network and business assets. We have built a winning team of ~80 awesome and highly motivated Insurellians based in Stockholm. During the first half of 2020, we have doubled the team! Right now, we are providing opportunities for fair compensation in Sweden and Denmark, expanding to France and Germany in 2021!

At Trine, we have pretty clear responsibilities, and our work is based on trust: we trust each other to do the job that needs to be done. We respect each other's skills, and everyone has a saying. We work with our three values: people, planet and profit. We do what we do to contribute to better quality of life for people, to reduce the C02 footprint on the world and to make this a profitable business. These three words are incorporated in everything we do, both internally and externally. We never compromise on any of them. We spend most of our time at the office, even though we do offer flexibility. Payr also improves invoice payments by providing truly independent price and quality comparison, enabling simple and fast switching to providers that offer greater value to our customers.Our first product launched Q3 2017 and can be found in App Store We have an experienced team of 11 people, with backgrounds from others startups and from leading Tech, UX, and advertising consultancy companies such as Making Waves and Dinamo, as well as a strong board of directors with backgrounds from Fintech, legal and IT at Nordea, Mastercard, Selmer Law, mCash and Itera.Even if we have an experienced team, we want everyone to be able to learn new things, so you get a lot of responsibility but also a lot of opportunities for improving and learning at Payr. We have international ambition, expanding to the Nordics next year. So you could say we have a pretty aggressive growth strategy as well. This makes most days hectic, but fun.We have 5 exits from other startups in our management team, so many of us have experience with doing this from before. Therefore, we try not to spend energy on stuff we know is going to be a waste of time. You could say we aim to have a professional way of running things, with systems to help everything run smoothly. Although we have high expectations for each other and our product, we also have a quite friendly environment, including a snoring office dog.
