Gimi is a Swedish startup that was founded in 2015 (then called Veckopengen) by Philip Haglund. Gimi's aim is to provide children and young people with financial education in a fun and interactive way. Gimi provides an education app where children can handle their pocket money and where parents can give the weekly or monthly allowance digitally. Together with the Gimi card (a prepaid Mastercard) Gimi gives children both theoretical education and practical exercises in personal finance. The app is based on in-depth research in psychology, didactics and economics developed in collaboration with universities and educational institutions in Sweden as well as abroad. Laborious editing and audio cleanup distract you from being creative with the content. We have created a portable recording studio that offers high quality audio recording and processing, consisting of a compact and easy to use recording kit (microphones, recording unit, charging station) controlled with a mobile app, as well as a web app supplying the ecosystem for processing it (offered as a SaaS solution).
