Digital Hub Denmark

Digital Hub Denmark is Denmark's national consortium for digitalisation. As a non-profit organisation backed by both public and private sectors, Digital Hub Denmark is committed to enhancing international collaboration and promoting Danish GovTech solutions that drive global digital transformation in the public sector. Our purpose is to champion Danish GovTech solutions that drive the global digital transformation of the public sector. We are committed to fostering innovation, efficiency, and transparency in government operations worldwide by leveraging Denmark's pioneering technology and digital expertise. Through our efforts, we aim to create a secure and citizen-centric digital public infrastructure that sets new standards globally. Digital Hub Denmark is a public-private partnership between the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as The Confederation of Danish Industry, and the Danish Chamber of Commerce.

DatHost

DatHost is a bootstrapped, profitable game server host (~€3M ARR, doubling YoY) powering CS2, Minecraft, Valheim and more. Having built our entire system and infrastructure from scratch, we focus on providing simple and cost-effective gameserver hosting solutions to both consumers and businesses. We’re a tiny, high-ownership team that loves staying lean, focused, and fast.

Medusa

Medusa is an ecommerce software startup of 17 people with primary operations in Denmark, and employees in Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Brazil, and many more places. All working together from remote locations to redefine how modern digital commerce applications are built with our open-source commerce platform. Medusa had its first commit in 2020, raised the first round of capital in 2021, and became the largest open-source commerce project on GitHub in 2022. Today, Medusa counts a 10k developer community, has crossed +1M npm downloads, and has raised $9M in funding. Yet, we are only just getting started. More about the product at medusajs.com

House of Control

House of Control Group is a tech company that develops software as a service (SaaS) solutions for contract management and IFRS 16 compliance (Lease Accounting). Our Software-as-a-Service solutions solves important, time-consuming, and professionally challenging work for the CFO and finance department. The CFO and the finance departments of medium-sized and large companies are our main target groups, and our software helps them improve financial and operational management. Private and public enterprises use our software to manage contracts and assets, communicate with suppliers, and get a faster overview over their business via dashboards. Cut costs, save time, reduce risk, and improve compliance – all key ingredients of a better-working finance department. Today, House of Control Group has 2700+ customers, with thousands of users worldwide.

SimplyPrint ApS

SimplyPrint is cloud software for managing and monitoring 3D printers. 3D printing has grown quickly over the past decade, but the software infrastructure around it is still fragmented and often difficult to manage, especially when multiple printers are involved. Schools, makerspaces, companies, and print farms often run several printers at the same time, but lack a simple way to monitor them, manage print queues, track usage, or help users interact with the machines remotely. SimplyPrint was created to solve exactly that problem. Our platform connects directly to 3D printers and provides a centralized interface where users can monitor prints, manage printer fleets, organize users, and control printing activity. For organizations running many printers, this dramatically simplifies daily operations. Today SimplyPrint is used by more than 75,000 users worldwide, ranging from hobbyists with a single printer to universities, schools, businesses, and professional print farms running dozens of machines. The company started about 6 years ago, directly after the founder finished high school. The first years were spent experimenting, pivoting, and rebuilding the platform several times. The current version of the platform (SimplyPrint 2.0) has been in active development for the past few years and has seen strong adoption and growth. One of the unusual things about SimplyPrint is that most of the growth so far has been organic. The product has spread through the 3D printing community largely through word of mouth, SEO, and user recommendations. The company is 100% bootstrapped and runs as a small, lean team based in Denmark. Today the team consists of three full-time members and several part-time contributors, with the core team also holding equity in the company. Despite the small team size, the platform now generates roughly 200,000 DKK in monthly recurring revenue and has grown significantly over the past year. The majority of customers are located in the United States, followed by Europe, as the global 3D printing market continues to expand. As the technology becomes more widely adopted in education, manufacturing, and product development, the need for reliable management software is increasing rapidly. SimplyPrint aims to become the standard platform for managing 3D printer fleets, helping organizations run their printers more efficiently while making the technology easier to access and use. We believe the market for 3D printing software is still early, and that a focused, product-driven team can build a significant global company from Denmark.
